I chose Joaquin and Vicente, imo the 2 best wingers in the world. Such a shame that they playy for an underperforming Spain side, who will surely get beaten by Brasil, eh Carlos. Anyway, I vote Joaquin Sanchez Rodriguez and Vicente Rodríguez Guillén

I mentioned in the other forum that I would make it Joaquin and Quaresma, but for this it's Ronaldo and Quaresma, but for the Ronaldo part I'm only picking the Ronaldo from what I see in the NT. Thats all.

Joaquin and Ronaldo are both pretty inconsistent.
Vicente hast hit his form while Quaresma has been out of this world and i can say truly say that i think he's perhaps the best winger in the world right now. Just stunning.

i think the Portugese wingers are are a bit more enteraining but the Spainish wingers are more effective

the Portugese pair are more flamboyant then the Spanish duo, but i have no doubt that the Spanish duo are more effective. i'd rather have the Spaniards in my team.

Interesting question. I rate, and always have, Vicente as the best left winger in the world, and Ronaldo, it's pretty obvious that he's the best right winger at the moment (given Messi isn't really a right winger). Quaresma is better than Joaquin, so probably Ronaldo and Quaresma as a pair.

Same. Its a shame he's so injury prone, he's an amazing player, and could be the best of the four had it not been for those darn injuries. Quaresma is a quality player, and therefore, as a pair you'd have to go four Ronaldo and Quaresma. But the other two aren't far behind.

tough because i think vicente & joaquin are damn good. but i rank ronaldo as the highest winger right now... and i think quaresma has crazy creative skill. so i rank the 2nd but i think the 1st are damn good too.

Ronaldo and Quersema. Ronaldo is the only one i really pay attention to but Quersema is pretty good i heard that he almost came to united i think.

no one barely knows Vicente b/c he's so injury prone, i want to see him in Euro 2008, he's a vital player for Spain and Valencia
Joaquin isn't that great, he's too right legged, when he has space on the left he goes the the right newayz -__- and he doesn't have the ability to cut inside using his left leg at all and doesn't know what to do when he's inside the box so he usually crosses it rather than taking on the defender or taking a shot
i mean he is a good winger but good defenders figure him out quite easily..i
f pace wasn't one of Joaquin's best attributes he wouldn't be good at all, tho his crossing is good too

Personally I feel Ronaldo> Joaquin and Vicente > Quaresma, but I believe soon Quaresma will overtake Vicente (if Vicente ever plays again).

Quaresma's crosses can be amazingly accurate at times. A lot of our Euro 08 goals came from Quaresma assists, so he is more effective than some people think. That outside boot of his can be dangerous too, and I've also noticed he's improved his left foot over the summer break.

Cristiano Ronaldo brings more than just running down the wings and crossing which makes him a great wing partner. Great at cutting down the middle and scoring goals.

So I'd have to go with Ronaldo and Quaresma. Without them Portugal wouldn't be qualifying for Euro 08.

If Duff and Robben werent injury prone they would be right up there for sure. Their combination was definitely lethal even though individually Duff may not have been as talented as a Quaresma or a Ronaldo but he was extremely intelligent and seemed to make the right decision on most occassions.

Currently its Quaresma and Ronaldo.

Even though the Barca pair arent wingers but you cant really look beyond Ronaldinho and Messi as they are the most lethal front 2 interms of the end product.

Thought this was an old thread, Vicente has done nothing for years now, no point really.

C Ronaldo and Quaresma are better NOW, if we can have Vicente fit all season this season, he can take us to the next level, we just need him so badly sometimes, BUT:

He's back fit now and will be in the squad for Sevilla.

I gotta go with Quaresma and C. Ronaldo. Not only do they both score goals but they both are very entertaining to watch. Vicente is too injury prone and I just don't like the way Joaquin plays.

Mega Quaresma fan but in terms of effectiveness i think vicente/joaquin would be better (perhaps david silva) but vicente is way too injury prone i think seriously that guy would be regarded as the best left winger in the world by everyone and not just the spanish if he was on the field more often. I can see why people would argue navas over joaquin but i still see joaquin as being more consistent at the national level.... anyways just my opinion.
