Im gonna be traveling down to Los Angeles on Jan 31, 2006 and was wondering what were the best soccer stores to check out while I was there (except of course the adidas and nike stores).

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, didn't really know where it belonged.

If I may, I would like to throw a suggestion out there for you. If you are going to be in Los Angeles on January 31st, you should go to the Home Depot Center and watch the national team train. I am sure that is better than any store in LA. Actually, I know it is better than any store in LA. Also, at the HDC there is a soccer store, but the prices are terrible. The Home Depot Center is located a few miles south of LA in Carson. Otherwise, you can go to Soccer Post, its probably the best store around here.

in santa monica..theres a store called offside sports..great jersey and apparel selection..not such a hot boot selection..there is also Nicky's sports on pico..great boot selection. then theres some other but they are kinda far away from LA by like an hour or so..ask if u want to hear bout those stores too..i live in the heart of Los angeles and trust me..not so great for soccer players

Thanks for the help! It looks like we are actually arriving in LA late night on the 31st, is the national team training the next day or sometime before or on the 4th of February? Also, we are staying in Anaheim so for shops and such is everything pretty close? We are from Alberta and don't have any experience finding our way around LA.

The national team has a game vs Japan in SF on the 10th (Feb). So I would assume they would still be in LA at that time. I have yet to hear of a schedule. But I will pass that along as soon as I hear something.
