When i get new gloves i use my old match gloves for practice. It's a really good idea if you can afford to get new pairs of gloves before yer old ones are totally worn out.

I did use one pair of gloves for both, but they ended up smelling really bad, having literally no latex on the palm and the fingertips, so it's not a good idea. I just got a pair of Sells Adhesion Ultra Wraps for games, and the T90 grips for practice. If you can, just get a cheap pair for practice and a nice pair for games.

Used a single pair for both, until recently, when I got my match gloves. Using Joma Golden for practise, Nike Tiempo Grip for match.

What most keepers do is have one Match glove, and a training glove (usually a worn down version of their previous match glove). I recommend purchasing a training only glove with a higher ruber to latex content that will give you more durability.

its good to see the one of the head guys on keeper zone on here. good to have you chewie
also the puma cellerator is one of the best top gloves on the market (the 05 version). with removable protection, latex backhand and excellent grip, it is a very top notch glove. definitly recommend it

they are pretty durable for a high end glove, but remember usually the higher the price the better the grip (usually) but to get better grip the latex needs to be softer, therefore it tears easier

Those gloves are sweet! I used to play in goals a few years back and had quite a few good pro teams looking at me, but I had "urges", and got frustrated with seeing what the outfield players should have been doing, so I asked to move outfield. Three years and 10 trophies later, I'm considering going back in goals.

(And it was the goal-scoring side of things that stopped us winning trophies when I was in goals btw

I had quite a few clean sheets

I have like 3 ..
One for games, another for practices, and another if it's raining ..
They're not expensive.. All pairs when I bought them, they were like 60$ ..
I don't see why I should spend hundreds of dollars when I'm only 15, and they make the same saves ..
It's not the gloves that matters, it's how you use them ..

i have legends also and to tell you the truth i hate them. they are my least favorite shoe ever. which is weird because i loved the air zoom total 90 II. i would recommend the predator because i have best luck with them, but it is hard to say

how long have you played? do you know that the grip of the glove is what makes you catch the ball. ive played with shitty gloves and it DOES affect your playing.
oh and BTW i wear pulses, manias, supernovas, f50+s they all seem to have a nice touch. as in goalkick. but i always kick the hell out of the ball.
but for dropkicks, i wear pulses, manias, and supernovas the f50=s dont work well for some reason.

Thanks for the welcome guys....I think the Puma Cellerators are a fantastic glove, and would be a good choice. I think any top rated glove will have basically the same durability. If your wearing your gloves out quickly, it may be a a technique issue (no offense intended)...If you need a more durable glove for matches, look to a impregnated palm like the Sells Durasoft, or Adidas Titanium. Good luck!

yeah sometimes the palms may wear away just by the way you stand up again..like using the palm of your glove when you touch the ground can do some damage..

Yeah, I know what you mean.. I didn't mean that way .. My lastest pair, was like 60$, but had EXCELLENTgrip ..
I ment the pairs that are like 200$++. Some 60$ pairs are better grip, and such ..
I've played goalie for like 5 years now .. Started off Striker, then ended up Defence cause I had a big kick, so I decided to go goalie, and since then, I'm goalie
