Does someone want to bet that he'll be a flop like Silva?
He is not good for a team like Sporting.

Heres the story in English
http://www.pfutebol.com/news/January%20200...r%20Adriano.htmHes a pretty goood player IMO,
From 2002 to 2005 he got 43 goals in 89 matches. This is a good pickup for SPortings offence

Wow, it looks like Adriano will actually go to Porto now.
http://www.ojogo.pt/21-326/Artigo524071.htmThat's odd, I would think Porto would go after a striker who's a little bit better.

I personaly think this guy stinks and had a bit of luck as a Nacional player and thats it. Congrats to Porto for grabbing him.

That came out of no where. I remember Porto were interested in him when Derlei was injured for the rest of the season ( got Maciel instead, bad move ) But I'm not sure about this. This could be a good move, he is certainly more proven than Marcel.

This news is from yesterday, but something Nacional's President is truly hilarious.
F.C. Porto
Adriano a caminho do FC Porto
O avançado brasileiro Adriano, do Cruzeiro, deverá reforçar o ataque do FC Porto, segundo confirmou hoje o empresário do jogador, Essau Elias.
He's basically saying he rather having Adriano going to Porto instead of Sporting because if he went to Sporting Nacional would he strenghtning a direct opponent. The idea: Sporting is as big as Nacional. Really BIG.

Nice headers that remind you of Jardel? mUst be a differnt Jardel because this guy has nothing on him.
He'll be in the scoring race in no time? Be honest to yourself please.

hey 40 goals in 80 games, no topscorer?

Jan 17 2006, 03:00 PM
He's no Jardel. But his comment "He'll be in the scoring race in no time?" I see why not. This guy scored over 20 goals a season, now with better support around him, I won't be surprised if he becomes a regular scorer.

Silva got 16 goals for Braga, Miklos Feher got 16 goals as well. what happened to these guys when they went to bigger clubs? All the Portistas are smoking to much trying to make this guy out to be something hes not. Cruzeiro is a big club with better players than Nacional, why dont thye want him again? Wake up.

Not really, I don't have high expectations for him, actually I don't have any. I'm just happy he came on loan for the exact same reasons you mentioned, if he's good he'll stay otherwise he's out.

Morretto was never going to come to Porto
we where only trying to get him to help out setubal cuz we would have loaned him to setubal for this season and maybe next season

When does Porto ever help anyone

you have to be fucken kidding me. They wer eplanning on getting rid of Helton because there were some teams after him and obviously they have to prepare for Baias ritirement which is almost over due.
