CRISTIANO RONALDO! CRISTIANO RONALDO! CRISTIANO RONALDO!!
He's so good! Does lots of stepovers and is very fast and does lots of tricks, best player in the world no doubt. Plays for Manchester City, yeah?

Seriously now,

Good topic, and here's who I chose, I tried to be as unbiased as possible

Samuel Eto'o;Simply the best forward in the world, his goal per game average is simply outstanding, and not only that, he contributes alot to the team. Constantly pressuring the defence, forcing them into mistakes, and comes deep to pick up the ball and even defend when needed to. For those who say he is selfish, he works extremely hard for the team, so if he makes the wrong choice now and then I won't get too flustered. He's improved since last season and is almost definately this season's Pichichi in La Liga, if he keeps up this outstanding form, the Golden Boot is more than likely his, though Luca Toni deserves an honorable mention as well.
Ronaldinho;Had I been allowed to choose a few more players, i'd have included Xavi, Gerrard, Kaka, Lampard and a couple of others, since it's not part of the topic to do so, I limited myself. The brilliance with which he combines an artist's touch to devastating effectiveness makes him
every defenders nightmare, is having a much better season than the previous one, and he was Spanish champion in the previous season. One can only wonder what this man will achieve. Second top scorer in La Liga, which is quite a feat for a person who's main job is to create goals.
As Chris Rock would so aptly put it - "If Ronaldinho was a woman, Ronaldinho would be a big-t*tty woman"
Puyol;Many undervalue Puyol's overall contribution to Barça and Spain, despite what many may say, IMO one of the top 3 centre-backs in the world at this moment, and his influence and leadership of Barça, not to mention his overall excellent game and the fact that he, along with Valdes, are the only players that have played every Barça game this season. He even refused to be left out of the squad against Zamora in the Copa del Rey

Quite stupid, but shows his dedication the damn lion that he is.
Surprises me Goalkeepers aren't included, but if I had to choose, then;
Casillas;
Seriously. Nobody better, if there was anybody I'd take from the Madridistas' it'd be him.
