Will it matter than I know jack shit about Baseball? Do I have to pick a team, because if I do I'm gonna be clueless.

Well it depends on whether we do a live draft but I really doubt that we're gonna be able to do something like that. You'll basically choose a team name and when the draft comes along you can rank players according to which ones youd want first, or you can just leave the default ranking which works pretty good too. After that youd just have to check in every once in a while to activate pitchers or something.
Scousy
OK. I'll just use the default rankings and try and fluke my way through it. My e-mail address is in my profile btw B2z
Big Philly
There will be no live draft as my thinking it would be hard to get everyone together at the same time

EDIT: Will details sent to your e-mail smile.gif
Scousy
Cheers Phil. Much appreciated. Now I just need to sign up for a yahoo acount.

EDIT: Done

EDIT2: Someone's definitely gonna have to talk me through it when it comes time to draft players laugh.gif

Oh and Will nice team Name picking the Astros i see wink.gif

When you log in the first thing it'll ask you to do is rank your players, if you dont want to do that just use the default rankings and that'll assure that you get the best player available. The draft is gonna be done automatically so you wont have to do much, just sit and wait.

Im just looking at the draft results.. im pretty please with my team(Smooth White Balls). I think I have the best infield....

1B: Carlos Delgado
2B: Alfonso Soriano
SS: Jimmy Rollins
3B: Alex Rodriguez
C: Jorge Posada/Victor Martinez
Utility: Chone Figgins

Not a bad rotation either:
Chris Carpenter
Marshmellow Colon
Dontrelle Willis
Rich Harden
Mark Buehrle
Josh Beckett

Not a great outfield and pretty much the worst relief possible, but I think I'll manage.

My outfield and relief is pretty crappy though.

Holy Crap thats not a bad team you have there, hell you have 3 guys who can hit 40+ hrs, one of the best catchers in the American Leauge and not to mention you have a rotation that even the Yankees would like.
------------------------------------------
anywhoo my team biggrin.gif

1B - D. Lee
2B - J. Vidro
3B - M. Ensberg
SS - R. Furcal
Util - O. Hudson
C - J. Varitek
OF - I. Suzuki
OF - H. Matsui
OF - V. Wells
OF - S. Podsednik
BN - P. Konerko
BN - E. Chávez
BN - P. Burrell
BN - J. Edmonds

Rotation : Which is lead by Halladay biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

SP - R. Halladay
SP - A. Burnett
RP - M. Rivera
RP - T. Hoffman
P - M. Prior
P - B. Webb
P - C. Lee
BN - C. Sabathia

I dont think my team is that bad tbh, i have some good hitters in the team with Matsui and Suziki and a good 1-2-3 combo in Halladay, Burnett and Prior, a solid middle infield with Vidro and Furcal also TONS of speed with Furcal, Suzik, Podsednik.

My biggest question i have is who do i play a first Lee or Konerko?

Hardly a question man, Lee by a landslide, triple crown contender for the last 2-3 years. Maybe bench Hudson and put Konerko as the Util. If I were you, the bigger question would be who to play at 3rd, Ensberg or Chavez.

Yeah after thinking about it i think your right in by placing Lee at first and having Konerko as the Utility.

Aslo i think i'll leave Ensberg at 3rd, better average and struck out less than Chavez.

After looking at the teams Scousy has a good 3-4-5-6 in Ortiz , A. Jones, G. Sheffield and B. Abreu (not in that order thou)

The Swedes team is 'stacked' : M. Ramírez, V. Guerrero, A. Ramírez , R. Sexson, M. Tejada all players who can hit 30+ hrs and drive in 100+ RBI's

Juan has: J. Bay, J. Damon, D. Jeter, T. Glaus, M. Teixeira, H. Blalock

I also have Peavy and Gagne.

But on sadder news, Hall of Famer and carreer-long Twins outfielder Kirby Puckett died today after suffering a stroke.

He led the Twins to World Series Championships in 1987 and in 1991 (from worst to first) He retired in 1996 after being diagnosed with Glaucoma, some say he was still in his prime when he woke up one day and couldnt see out of his right eye. He was a first ballot Hall of Famer in 2001.

The '91 World Series is probably the oldest one I can remember, since the Padres went to the show in '84 the year I was born I dont really remember that one. But the '91 WS is up there with the two the Jays won and the Joe Carter home run. Puckett was one of my favourite players back when I first started getting into baseball, a pure hitter just like Tony Gwynn. A sad sad loss indeed.

Why not? you've, pretty much got the points for HR, RBI, Runs and Avg locked up.. and its only 10 games into the season

But Im winning as of today, thanks to my pitching staff.

Juan went crazy with the moves today... Anyone really understand the waiver #'s cuz Im 5, yet any move I make always works no problem, so im assuming they mean nothing and its first come first serve...

ah yes, the pivitol HR, RBU, Runs and Avg. I totally understand what they mean.
Big-Red
Home Runs.
Runs Batted In (someone is on base and I get a hit and they score, I get an RBI)
Runs are runs.
Batting average.
