I've seen it done by many many players, but does anyone know how I should do it? Do I just cut it off?

i would try folding it above your toes, inside your shoe and bringing the top of it down to fit inside the laces. my only idea though. i'm not sure how cutting it would work out.

on my legends i fold the tounge over inside the boot you cant even feel it
