i wore my vapors this afternoon and love them to bits already. one major problem is i now have a huge blister going along the back of my heel. they felt very comfy whilst using them. i taped up me heels wore 2 and wore 2 pairs of socks, what else can i do to stop the blisters. my left foot is bigger than my right so i put an insole into the left boot in addition to the current nike one, this makes both feet fit the same. please give me some tips to stop getting blisters.

dont tape your feet with normal tape
use anti-blister tape
its way more helpful than a normal tape cause it lefts air between the heel and the tape (pretty easy: no touch no blister)
btw the german army uses such tapes aswell cause they do provide blisters to 99.99999 %

two things. number 1: does showering stop blisters or just mould them to your feet
2 i used elastoplast fabric strapping. is that whats meant by blister tape? if not where can i get it from?

1. showering just molds them to your feet (which aswell provides blisters)
2. dont know this tape / blister tapes isnt tape as we know its a preformed plaster (its not on a roll)

cheers onkel ruppi any idea where to get these plasters and if they stay in the same place and dont slide around?

they dont slide around they are like a 2nd skin but there are diff plasers some you have to wear 3 days and then they slide off automaticaly others only a few hours (you normaly cant take them off with your hands cause they REALLY are like a 2nd skin otherwise you would take your real skin off with the plaster)
you get em in any pharmacy

When i first wore my MVIII's (having previously worn I's and II's and got blisters) I had 2 plasters on my heels, wore normal footy socks and also taped the back of my heels. Didnt get any blisters, on my heels at least.
Got blisters on both my big toes and soles of each foot, but these were developing already, but i havent had any problems with blisters on the heel, which i'm really suprised about.

But the blisters aint recurring, worn my boots for about 11 hours(training on astro) and they are fine

i think my blisters may also be because the heel is very narrow so digs in my foot. a way i hav tried 2 prevent this is by wedging deoderant cans in the heels to make them rounder

I get the blisters on my big toes and my heels.. its like I'm sliding enough in my boot to cause it.. only when I my feet get sweaty.
