has anyone got any information on the new man utd shirts that are due out in the summer. i expect them to be the same template as the new world cup kits (which are horrible) and i wanted to see what they look like seeing as i will buy them whatever they look like.

You'll not see pictures until they have a sponsorship deal in place and announced. The blue away shirt will be kept for 06-07 but with the new sponsor and not the Vodafone on this seasons shirt and will revert to being the 3rd shirt. Expect a new white away shirt though as well as a new home shirt

how do you know all that?

Simply because I happen toknow the manager of the biggest independant sports shop my area and I can find out pretty much all the info about the new shirts, release dates etc.. The label on the current blue shirt has a life span on 2 years from it's 2005 release so it must stay in operation next season but they will have to release the shirt with the new sponsor although probably only in quite small numbers as with the gold Arsenal O2 shirt from 2002-03. The new sponsorship will be announced in the next 2 months. The home shirt will probably be an August release and the away shirt after that. Don't expect to see pictures just now as Man United try very, very hard to ensure pictures are not seen until around 2 weeks to release to ensure the shirt is not faked before release
