Hey guys.... since i recognized that most people are either nike supporters or addidas ones, I wondered why you like them better regarding boots style image and balls.

Speaking of myself i guess i like Nike better because their kits and bots look more stylish and always prefer them when it comes to soccer boots even though i mostly pick them without trying most addidas ones or different brands. So whats your favourite boot?

I also prefer their clothes as to me they have more style to some extend, but i guess this is effected that most of the players i admire use Nike as Ronaldinho vdV or C.Ronaldo...
What are your reasons to prefer either one?

When it comes to balls however I never bought a Nike one - I guess thats simply because I was always used to play with the current euro or world cup ball and thats why i picked them..

But all in all I like Nike a lot better than adidas....what about you.

i like both brands

nike: they have some really good designs and good technologies and most of the products are comfy but some (pretty much if i am real) arent of the best quality

adidas: they have some really good designs and good technologies and most of the products are comfy and the most products are of good quality (its just like german cars and american cars/ thats why i like adidas a lil bit more than nike)

Puma (ma secret favourite): they have the greatest designs (somethin like the gucci under the sportbrands) and mostly all of the products are very very very comfy and the most products are of good quality (as i said above) but not the best technologies

I would have to go with Adidas, But Nike's new Mercurial Vapors are lush

I like both equally when it comes to clothing, for boots i would say adidas just wins it, but i am happy to wear either brand.

i like nike boots better but adidas boots are way better quality. adidas dominates balls (only because every major tournament is paying adidas to make balls for them) and nike wins in the clothing department. Their jerseys have always been real nice (except for this world cup) and they street wear is awesome.

For boots, I prefer Adidas - they seem to be more innovative and stylish than Nike. For kits, I actually prefer Umbro, but if I was forced to choose, I'd pick Adidas. Nike kits are too generic, and it seems like very little imagination goes into designing them. In the past, they've used exactly the same template for multiple teams, changing only the colours.

I'm definetely going to have to go with Adidas on this one. Not only do I think they make better field-player equipment (balls, boots, outerwear, etc) but I also think they make much better goalkeeper equipment than Nike. I know this because I'm a goalkeeper and have played with Nike and Adidas equipment and Adidas makes better goalkeeper jerseys, pants, and gloves. That's my two cents on this.

my choice would have to be adidas. I never got a good feel for nike so I dont play with any of nike's equipment or clothing. I hope to get the tunits soon..such class

I would have to say Nike...use to be a huge adidas fan but I have had sum bad luck with their boots. I think predators are kind of riding on their name now...not say they r not a good boot but i heard from ppl that used to consistently buy preds say they are not that special anymore and don't really hold up all that well....which i have seen first hand.

To me Nike puts out a very consistent product...I had AZT 90 III's for quite sum time...i recently got Air Legends and they are even better than total 90's....i always wondered what the buzz around them was...now i kno why. Also Nike does put out sum very nice colorways in their boots.

I think both companies put out a stylish kit...i really like the total 90 kit, i just wished Nike didn't use it on every team of theirs. i do think adidas did a better job dressing their teams then Nike...i.e. not every team had the same template.

I think both companies make great balls so i really don't have much to say hear

It's hard to say because all companies try to appeal to every athlete and over the years Nike has appealed to me way more than adidas. I think Nike has the best qaulity products of any brand, maybe Puma is a close second

I cant agree all the way with that. Nike makes a few good jerseys and pants, but i prefer adidas gloves over anything. I also like the jerseys that adidas makes more.

I think nike make some lovely boots and never fail to impress, but adidas always make sturdy comfrotable sexy lookin boots as well and with the technology of Tunit's i think adidas has taken the Big Ben approach and nike are now left in the Big Office Block Approach. Considering nike wont be able to copy the technology unless adidas sell it on which would be suicidal, adidas will be the option for people looking to get there money's worth just think about it will you buy boots that ruin and you cant do nothing about them apart from buy another pair for £120 or will u buy a pair that you can interchange according to your taste surface you play on etc etc for £110 where to renew them will only cost you £60.

Then again if money wasnt a consideration then i might just might keep buying mvIII's as the colourways come out. Funny old industry this is.
