All game talk goes in here.
uefa.com previewI hope for a good game that sees Bremen advancing to the next round.
Any of the scores they need would do it for me.

Looking forward to this game since Werder have an attacking mentality. Their defense leaks a lot of goals but their strikers are excellent. Plus they're winning 3-2 with 90 more minutes to go so they'll just go all out attacking. I think there will be more goals in this match than any of the other CL matches.

They were lucky to win as I thought Werder were unlucky not to advance, but they have their keeper to thank for that

Yes fckn lucky ones again ... Werder so deserved it and it would be nice to have an additional offensive performing side in the quarters but now - lets face some more boring Juve mathces

Lets be realistic here...Juventus completley dominated that game..and it wud have been an injustice if they didnt go through with all the chances they had..The goalie made 1 mistake and it cost him..but if it werent for him..it wuda been maybe 4 or 5-1...Werder were unlucky..but the result was Fair

I feel that Werder were the better team through out this tie. A very unlucky way to go out. How can u make such a mistake like that in the dying minutes of an important game? u gotta feel bad for the goalkeeper.
The ball is always clean

like someone said, if it weren't for that goalie, juve would have smashed werder bremen. He should be patted on the back for stopping them rather then be blamed for losing it.
That the unfortunate thing about being a keeper.. Could be great for so long but the 1 msitake will be punished severley.

was rooting for Bremen to go through... ... feel so bad for the GK.. yeah but like someone said if not for him it could have probably been 3-1 to Juve or more...
wonder who Arse will meet in the QF... (yeah they will win tomorrow..

Arguably the best goalkeeping display from Wiese that I've ever seen in my life. No one deserves that. Juve could've been 4 or 5 ahead without Wiese in goal.

If you say Juve deserved it due to their chances in this game... then did you see how many chances Bremen had 2 weeks ago.
I guess after all Bremen would have deserved it.

How can you say you deserved to go through and it would be injutice if you hadn't. You did dominate, you did create more chances but there goal keeper saved those chances. That is the job of the goal keeper and he did his job tonight and only for the ball slipping out of his hands in the last two mins you would have went out. Emerson didn't even know the keeper dropped it untill it rolled up beside him.

Theres no way a team can be that lucky all the time, theres gotta be like a higher power or some supernatural power helping them out. Juve dont even play well, yet they win that many games. The keeper played so well in this game but the power watching over juve made the keeper drop that ball just to devistate the bremen players and fans and all the ppl that hate juve, like myself.

The keeper got overexcited what silly man.
Juve are so lucky right now.

Damn it. I was hoping for Juve to get elminated. But it doesn't matter. The way Juve played does not worry me.
That was a really lucky goal by Emerson. It is sad how things work sometimes in football. You can be player of the game one minute, and then one mistake costs you the CL.

Our defence has very poor understanding , Zambrotta is easily the best in his position around. Juve got lucky but if Bremen got through they would just get knocked out anyways. You want to see all the heavyweights in the QFs onwards. We have a weak defence and an old midfield so we have to hope on more GK assists if we go all the way. Alessandro has to play.

WOW, I was pissed actually.
I really like how Bremen plays, beautiful footy, nice touch that goal they scored was excelent!
Juve, as always, get lucky but hey thats football.

Yeah and Emersons goal was class

You see how he did a sly Ronaldinho and looked away from the ball while he struck it. Who says he doesnt play like a Brazilian.

That was just downright luck - i wanted Bremen to go through since their style of play is appealing to neutrals like me.

Ahhh it's great to qualify like this, especially after reading comments like these.

Seriously though I don't expect to go much further than the quarter finals unless we get lucky with the draw on thursday. Plus with Barca playing the way they are now I doubt anyone can really hope to stop them.
The only glimmer of hope is that we get lucky like Milan in 2002/03 and find ourselves in the final after getting through the quarters and semis without deserving it, only to win the final on penalties.
Oh and by the way, Milan supporters talking about luck is pretty rich.

Why german keepers always have to make blunders in important Champions League matches?Like Kahn against Real and Juve or Lehmann vs Chelsea. But Wiese is the blunder master. He felt like Superman and wanted to include a special move for this silly simple save...damn lol.

heh lucky juve.
i found it amusing how they got 15+ offsides. this isn't like the serie a, juve, where you can score 2-3 goals from offside and no one will say anything...
zlatan proved once again what a crappy player he is.
but in the end let's face it, juve is a far stronger team than werder, and werder can blame only themselves.

Yes, Bremen's goal build-up was top notch.
What a poor mistake by the keeper though. Shame because as some of you rightly said, he made some excellent stops that night.
It really frustrated me actually how he let the ball go when he looked to be in complete and utter control of it in the dying seconds of the game.

The mistake didn't cost it for Bremen IMO, they could have conceeded 2 or 3 goals earlier in the game anyway without Wiese's top game. The real big mistake was the 1-1, they can't afford to defend 2 on 2 vs Nedved and Trezeguet and get outplayed that badly.
The offence in both matches by Bremen was quality, not enough goals maybe in the 1st leg.
The defence was played with too much risk, some poor defending on the goals.
The goals Bremen scored were not to deny well, but their poor defence won Juve the tie IMO.
