I hope Bayern will advance, would prefer to do it with a win but any result that sees us go through would do it for me. It is going to be very tough though, especially when I look on Bayerns struggling form in 2006.

Anyway, keep the faith. hump.gif

The best attack in Europe has taken its toll.

that was not a game. that was a demonstration of goal scoring power. what i have learnd is: bayern might be the best in germany, but not the best in europe, by far sad.gif

sheva canīt score penalties laugh.gif

and scholl is still a great player.

what a night sad.gif bayern out, lpool out, madrid out... great...

WAT A GAME!! I was a bit nervous in the lead up to this because of Milan's unpredictability, but once the game started i had no doubt that we would take this one out. We played really great and exciting football. Bayern squandered many chances towards the end, but i suppose they're self esteem would have been demolished by that stage of the game.

I cant believe sheva missed the penalty. I suppose it was justice as i feel it was a pretty soft penalty. But the best thing was when sheva showed wat a classy player he is, he missed the penalty and then kahn came up and thought he was hot shit and started yelling stuff at sheva, then like 3 mins later sheva comes up with a great header and made kahn look like a fool biggrin.gif

Overall it was a great game and i think we can go all the way.

Bayern and the German soccer got demolished lately smile.gif

I expected that Milan would probably win but definently didn't see the scoreline. I thought Bayern's defense was one of the best in Germany,

Well in shevchenko after missing a pen still puts it away past Kahn. and Kaka what a goal

Right mate, we will get over it though, yesterdays CL games sucked for us dry.gif but hey, next season it starts again from zero and now the teams we wanted to advance know that they need to do more.
Scholl is a legend cool.gif .

At least Cottbus won yesterday tongue.gif , hopefully this saves it a bit for you like it does for me.
Disappointing day though.

Yeah, in Germany but this doesn't help you when you say before the match:"We will make the game of our lives (made by Kahn)". The defence was pure shite yesterday, at least we are not the only heavyweight to get knocked out that early.
Shocking performance though, very few players by Bayern had an acceptable game.

I don't thin Bayern played bad at all, Milan were just as clinical as ever. they had 5 shots, and 4 goals. It's not like bayern were played off the park, Milan just took their chances because their attack is the most lethal in Europe when it comes to finshing. They have scored the most goals this season, 63, tied with Barcelon who have 63. More than Chelsea's 56, and Bayern's 48. Typical Milan, create some chances, and score most of them... Sheva, Kaka, Inzaghi, Gila, Seedorf, Pirlo, and even Vogel, all attakcing minded, Magath was right when he said it's hard to defend against a team that plays 7 attackers in their starting 11.
