I loved Madrid for a long time now. As a kid in Mallorca everyone either loved Real or Barca. Then they supported Mallorca.

It was as if it was an obligation to support Mallorca no matter how bad they were doing in the league. Anyways, I can’t remember exactly how I began to like Madrid but I know I loved their style of play and just the aura around them back then. Its kinda hard to explain. What about you? how you come to support both Barca and Benfica? (it sucks to be you during the quarters)
Yeah I follow Mallorca every once in a while. Though I’m a bit nervous since they are dancing around relegation zone. It’s also a bit weird watching them play because I know the goalkeeper.
How you end upliving in Australia?
Well i'm of Portuguese/Spanish descent, and my father (who is Portuguese) is a commited Benfica member. He's supported them throughout their glory years when they beat Barcelona and Real Madrid to win their two European cups, and has never stopped. My mother, whose mother is from Vigo whilst her father is from Barcelona, follows those two herself. Vigo and Barça, Barça first. When I was young, I really had a strong love for Benfica due to my father and his influence, but I was still a Cule. When I aged a little that's when I made the choice for Barça, and although I hold a place for Benfica in my heart and of course follow their progress and support them in domestic/European competition, Barça was the team I myself chose, and have never let go of since. Now of course it sucks because well, I myself want Barça to go through, and believe they will, but there'll be hell in my house with me and my father against each other

EDIT: Celta de Vigo, for those who don't know what club comes out of Vigo.

I came here when I was two years old, at the time we were living in Portugal with my grandmother and it was a time when Australia was seen as a land of opportunity, work wise. So we made the move here, I lived in Darwin for a period of time, then Melbourne, and finally to Sydney, where i've lived since. I've been back to Portugal/Spain a number of times, and am absolutely in love with both countries and plan on moving back in a few years.

Barcelonista Siempre, I don't follow the Knights or any other team in the A-League. I can't stand it. I think that it is really boring and the quality is quite low. I understand it is still a developing league and the strongest it has ever been but its just not for me. I hear the the Knights are really awful, one of the worst teams in the competition.
I can't stand McDonalds and I've only had it in South Africa and New Zealand. They taste equally horrible in my opinion.
Yeah the Knights had a horrible season, and although the league quality isn't top notch, I feel it's important to nurture the sport in it's developing stages and get as much interest going as possible, especially now that they're planning to implement a Youth system which will do wonders for the game at grassroots levels.
