I don't suppose that there are any other Shrews fans in here, but it's a good season for us so far. Got to be play-offs at least.

You maybe in the majority of one in terms of Shrews fans.
Good to see another poster around the forum though, we certainly lack numbers around these parts

I thought that might be the case, it was a massive ask. I was surprised to search and actually find this thread here!

So close for the Shrews tonight. A 5-4 loss on penalties after a 0-0 game against Brighton from the league above. Good match all in all, even though the weather didn't help. Best of luck to Brighton in the final.

I didnt actually watch the match but i was flicking through and saw the penalties being taken so i thought i would check out the penalties. Im surprised it was Grant Holt who missed the penalty because he is so prolific infront of goal. Wasnt he the one who scored like 4 or 5 goals vs Wycombe when they hit them for seven ?

Yeah, it always works out that way though doesn't it? Whenever you have a penalty taken by someone you expect to score, you feel that they are more likely to miss. Holt is still the hero of the season so far though, he has been banging the goals in for fun. We'll have to achieve promotion this season if we want him to stay next season.
