BERLIN, March 16 (Reuters) - Bayern Munich and Germany midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has been questioned by police investigating alleged match fixing in German soccer, Munich daily tz reported on Thursday. Schweinsteiger and two players from second division club TSV 1860 Munich, Quido Lanzaat and Paul Agostino, had been questioned, the newspaper said in an article released ahead of publication on Friday.
Munich prosecutors were unavailable for immediate comment. They had said on Wednesday that they were studying a media report that several Bundesliga players, including a German international, might be involved in the scandal.

Personally I don't know what to think, this is huge news. Although the article only says that Schweinsteiger is being questioned, not that he is involved, this still seems very suspicious to me. I don't understand why he would do this though, he is only young and has his entire career ahead of him, it just seems strange that he would do something like this. Personally I don't think he was involved in this, but there is no smoke without fire.
