As the title says..

Pics are below.

I've emailed Adidas to see what they say..Waiting for Reply.

What's the general procedure when it comes to defected Adidas boots? I know it's probably been gone through many times but i'd just like to have a clarification. thumbsup.gif
Nipples
A less close in picture would be handy, so we could see the whole boot. Also, it depends how long you have had the boots and if you have worn them on the correct surface (eg SG on soft, muddy grass etc)

From a distance you can't see anything. Because i'm only using a Phone Cam. It just looks a little darker.

I've had them since November, and they are SGs and as you will know, England in the Winter, doesn't do hard pitches. tongue.gif

That looks similar to what happened to me and i got a GC for my f50+. just ask them for a return authorization # and see what they say. mine were hardly split and i got a GC so its worth a try.

Might give it a try seeing as might be buying some F50s soon anyway, so if they don't send em back and i don't get a free pair/money off thing, it's no loss.

Please could you keep us updated on how adidas respond, because I fear the soleplate on my F50+'s could be coming away from the upper. It looks alot like yours, only its at the inside, at the front of the right boot.

I would like to know what adidas will do about it considering the size/seriousness of the defect

Apparantly they don't send them back regardless of if they're worthy of a free pair.
So Fresh N' So Clean
how can they do that just keep your boots and not give them back???
Romeo371M
well in theory u are returning ur boots cuz they are unusable...IE they snapped or something. so thats why u HOPE to get compensated somehow, but theoritcally it shouldn't matter if adidas sends them back xuz u can't use them to begin with...hence ur sending them to adidas.-B G

That's crazy! they should probably send em back regardless.

Not really, if you try and cheat them, they'll keep your boots laugh.gif.

And it'd cost them money to ship them back to you.
Philipinho
I guess so but still if you bout them you should still probably be able to keep em' even if they were wrecked cause you could probably do something with them but ya, I'd like to find out what happens.
mrfocus
No, I don't think they keep them unless you tell them to.
Or else, they would be stealing them, just think about it.

One thing that is possible is giving your old shoes to them, and they take a look at what wore out quick, etc. and try to make a better shoe. I remember seeing it on TV, they had something like 9000 pairs in stock, from the boots Germany wore to win the world cup in 1954 to just about anything you can think of.
Philipinho
Ya, that's kinda what I'm thinking. And welcome mate! thumbsup.gif

I see your point but, what about if you're at the stage i am. They are useable, though not of the quality they should be through no fault of my own?

Send them back. If they broke, they broke. My F50+'s soleplate seperated from the upper and I sent them back to Pro Direct Soccer and they've sent me an exchange pair of my choice.
ole anyone?
it is probably a good chance they will send them back if not replace them. Adidas is too big a company to want a bad shoe out in the public to ruin their image. My buddy got 3 or 4 new pairs of pusions because they upper kept seperating. although he sent them back through eurosport who probaly sent him a pair they had in stock and just got recompensated through adidas.

I bought 2 pairs of red nike vapor 2s and they were different sizes so i sent them back to nike Australia and they replaced them with brand new burnt orange boots... Pretty cool huh.
