Hi there,
can you please write here some information about them ?
They are my favourite players, I saw them on ANP and I want to know more information about them
(especially their best football weapons - I think they're very fast, but I dont know them much...)

I've bought them in football manager today and I want to edit them, so can you pls help me ?
thanks

Yeah of course mate...they're Zambian so I can give you some info... wink.gif

Contrary to some views, they are actually NOT twins...Chris is the older one and Felix is about two years younger. They played for the same club in Zambia (Green Buffaloes) before both trekking to the South African league where they play for different teams.

They're both wingers - Chris plays on the right and Felix on the other wing. In terms of personal attributes, Chris is the more robust one and is quite simply a workhorse...certainly one of the most committed players in the national team. He never hesitates to shoot at goal and he does have a good shot. Felix is the more skillful one and is faster. He tends to fade during matches but is quite an asset on the left wing.

That's about it mate. I've sort of just waffled around but if you need specific info, just gimme a shout biggrin.gif thumbsup.gif

thanks for the info

It seems me that Felix tries tricks a lot, isn't he ? (but I've seen him only twice)
In my FM game Felix is an attacking or central midfielder and Christopher (is he Chris or Christopher ?) as a striker ... What positions are they used to play ?
Is any of them good in taking set pieces ?

Do they prefer left foot, right foot or either ?
What are their weak points - jumping and defending?
Do you think they will be able to play in european competitions ?

I need their stats to football manager, so please write me if they are in some other things really good or bad...

sorry 'bout the delay bud...

Yeah Felix is the more skillful one on the ball and he does some tricks with it...not fancy ones like the C.Ronaldos of this world, but tricks nonetheless smile.gif
Felix plays as an outright left winger for the national team...but he has been used as an attacking midfielder a couple of times at his club. The wing suits him better though IMO. His crossing is pretty good as well. Christopher (Chris for short) is naturally a striker and a forceful one at that. He uses his strength above anything else and has quite a lethal shot as well. He's a Patrick Mboma kind of player. The lack of an out and out right right winger in the national team means Chris has been slotted there and to his credit has done very very well. His crossing isn't as good though so he needs to improve in that regard.

At set pieces, Chris is your man. He doesn't exactly "bend it like Beckham" but will rather fire it in like Roberto Carlos laugh.gif . Both of them are right footed, but both also have a good left foot.

Weak points? Well for Felix, he tends to tire out easily and drifts out of the game the longer it goes...as a result of which he rarely plays 90 minutes for Zambia. He also doesn't really go back to help out the left back and this causes problems particularly if the opponents have a good right winger. He's short as well so he's not your man for high balls...
For Chris, I suppose the weakness is his tendency to be selfish at times. He will shoot at the first sight of goal, sometimes at the expense of a defence splitting pass to a teammate in a far better position. And his crossing is pretty poor. He does challenge for aerial balls and is a lot better at tracking back to help the backline. His workrate is superb...easily the most hardworking player Zambia has.

Do I think they can play in Europe? Well...Chris would be more suited for the Premiership IMO and I think he can do reasonably well there. I'm not too sure about Felix though... rolleyes.gif

Phew...where's my coffee now? smile.gif

thanks for the big info...
how many money, do you think that Chris can cost ?
I would like to suggest him to our coach, we need some goalscorer, and I think he's the right guy...
Is Felix in starting eleven of national team, or he comes as substitute ?
m79
^^How much would Chris cost? I really dunno bud...but he won't cost anywhere near a million pounds as he's never played in Europe. What's your team btw?

Felix sometimes starts and other times comes off the bench...the bottom line is he rarely plays 90 mins.

Chris Katongo is a star of the two, mainly because he is a hard worker and can finish aswell. Only weakness is that he sometimes become selfish, as maurice said.
I'm sure he will play weak and weak out in ur team broe.

But i heared that he may be going to France at the end of the season to Boadaux or Masaille this season, as Jomo Sono his coach and boss at the same time said so.

Oh nearlly forgot he scored a brace on Saturday, one from penalty spot.

As for felix i dont now much about him because he doesnt play much in the team. By the way they play for the same team.

This player impressed Aberdeen manager Jimmy Calderwood during our recent friendlies against Jomo Cosmos. Reports also said Rangers were interested as well but our assistant manager is mates with the Jomo manager so we may get favourable treatment in trying to sign him.

Anyone have any information about what kind of player he is? It would be nice to have another African player and if he has the same kind of talent that Hicham Zerouali (RIP sad.gif ) had then that would be great.

The best footballers will soon be coming out of Africa - and directly to Aberdeen, if the Dons take up an amazing deal on offer to them.

The prospect of not paying a transfer fee for 20 times capped Zambian striker Chris Katongo will delight the cash-strapped Dons. And the opportunity to forge links with Jomo Cosmos that could see a flood of top black African players pouring into Pittodrie almost looks too good to be true.

But Jomo Sono, the self-styled king of African football, says he will make it happen when he meets Dons boss Jimmy Calderwood and football director Willie Miller here in Johannesburg tomorrow.

Katongo, who is also being tracked by Rangers, will be offered up as a sweetener to seal a deal that could prove a winner for both clubs.

"I'm not interested in making money off Aberdeen," said Jomo, who will also urge the Dons to sign Katongo's younger brother Felix, a left winger.

"I want to open up a partnership that would benefit both clubs.

"We would be happy to send all our best players, who qualify for European passports or work permits, to them in Scotland.

"Aberdeen are in a better position to sell them on to other clubs in Europe and we would both share in any profits.

"That includes Katongo, even though he is our star forward and was our top scorer last season.

"I could make money now by selling him to Rangers or another club in Europe. But I would rather do what is best for him and Cosmos in the long term.

"If that means we make nothing immediately from his move to Aberdeen and have to wait to benefit from a sell on clause then I will do that."

Jomo promised the Dons and their fans they would be on a winner if they made Katongo, 23, their first Zambian signing.

"Katongo would be a revelation in Scotland," he said. "It would delight me to see him get the praise he deserves.

"It's the same with his brother Felix. He is injured at the moment but is an unbelievably talented winger.

"Aberdeen would benefit from having the option of many more players from Africa.

"Clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea are already plundering this continent for top talent. Rangers will soon do the same because I know their new manager Paul Le Guen has contacts here.

"Aberdeen could gain an advantage in Scotland by agreeing to link up with us.

"It would give them more chance of getting the affordable better black players before some of their rivals.

"I can see only benefits for both of us."

Katongo scored the opener when Cosmos beat Aberdeen 2-0 on Sunday but missed yesterday's rematch, which the Dons won 1-0, because he is away on international duty.

But Sono says the striker - who scored 12 goals last season - could go straight to Scotland to join Aberdeen next week if the talks with Calderwood and Miller go well.

The former South African international coach said: "Katongo follows my advice and has already told me he would rather go to Aberdeen than Rangers.

"It is not about money. It is about him getting the chance to play regularly and develop. He can make his fortune further down the line.

"He meets the criteria needed to get a work permit in Scotland, so the deal could be done very quickly.

"A few other teams, in Germany and France, are also looking at him.

"They told me they will watch Katongo when he plays for Zambia on Sunday.

"But I will make sure Aberdeen get the first option.

"I owe them that for agreeing to travel so far to support the tournament I organised to promote South Africa.

"I've also taken an instant liking to Jimmy Calderwood and now regard him as a friend.

"And friends do all they can to help each other."

To be honest it almost sounds too good to be true for us!

It was too good. Nothing happened - Jomo Cosmos never got in contact. We weren't the only ones who had our fingers burnt. Dundee United had a deal pretty much all agreed to sign Katongo but then Jomo once again failed to get in touch with United to finalise the transfer.
