Ok so,

How long have you had them for and are there any rips..wears and teers? how are they REALLY holding up. Because the leather seems SO...SO thin and i really like how the black ones look and the white ones look ok. but they seem like i would play in them once and i would have hole in the front. I have this deeling of not trusting them.

And how come the tounge it so small..doesnt it get annoying? Pulse tounges are nice and big.
If the tounge is big...then the pictures on soccer.com arent good because the tounges look VERY small.

so if you all could give reports on your abs that would be great...whats the difference with abs and absolions? the leather on the absolions are thicker and the power pulse doesnt work so why not get absolions??

A short one for the absolutes, but should be useful.

my absolutes are holding up great and are probably just as comfy as my legends, the leather is pretty thin but there is no sign of tearing or anything like that , if you are thinking of getting a pair i would strongly reccomend you do as they are some great boots.

ive had mine since christmas and they are fine apart from scuffs on the toe which is from the astro turf were we train and play school games on

ive had mine since the friday they came out and nothing at all wrong with great boots but mine have now stretched so i tend to use my tunits alot more now and tunits and absolutes are both quality boots!

I have the beckham abs, so they havent ripped but both straps that hold the tounge down have already ripped.

hey man.. I own air legends atm but I'm thinking of changing to the absolutes. What do you think of this idea? Which boots do you prefer and why?

i have the red and black absolutes and the beckhams. the beckham tongue is actually bigger in the pictures and the shoe, but when i compared the two of them, they were the exact same tongue size. i don't know how, it's weird. the leather is thin, but not thin enough to tear unless you cut it w/ a blade. i've ahd mine for about a month and use them every day for about 2 hours. the leather starts to wear down on the toe cus you might push off for sprints and skid the ground on shots, but it's not that bad. it's not tearing any time soon.

id say it was a great idea as i have legends and absolutes and they are both great boots but id say the legends are better but ive only played a couple of matches in the absolutes so i couldnt really say that much about them just that they feel a bit like legends on your feet apart from these have those rubber things on them and help with curling your passes and shots , although this takes a bit of comfort away from the boot imo

My Absolutes SUCK! i worn them about 4 times and they split and the ends, and my last game i went in for a slide tackle and i got studded in the bottom (red) bit and they have a hole in! For £100 its pathetic! i really need 2 email adidas has anyone got there e mail? absolutes arent too great for the value.

know predators are really good for value as there a pro football boot and there boots are worn many times my elastic hasnt broke yet but its a crap strap they should have kept the pulse strap . I also have air legends and tunits as i said i hate my legends i only use them for trainnig really and my absolutes vaps an tunits are my boots im using at the moment tunits are so good and nothing wrong with them yet after 3 games and 3 training sessions there fine

i disagree , i have mvIIs , adidas predator absolutes, adidas copa mundials and nike air legends and my favourite boots out of all of them are my nike air legends, they are supremely comfy and give you a great feel on the ball , better than absolutes imo

Absolions are NOT kangaroo leather.

well, iv had absolutes since early feb..wait..late january, and they're still holding up prretty well, albeit some scuffs at the leather. but im not too worried. u would expect some scuffs, playing right back and tackling all the time. haha. i wear these boots for training and games, as i dont really see the point of having diff boots for games n training. but hey, thats just me..

anyway, i think the boots are awesome. they fit me like a glove! im serious. but hey, its only my opinion. dont base ur own opinions on others'. u try em out first, and then ull see if u like em or not. what happend to me was when i tried them on before i bought them, i heard a choir of angels in my head singing "get themm!!!!". they were SO comfy. it was as if they were made for me.

when i tried em on they were 0.5 sizes smaller. but hey. they're leather. they'll stretch and mold to yer feet real nice. trust me.

and yea, i tought the tongue were small too, based on pics off sites. but they're not. they're well suited to cover the laces giving a good contact m kicking surface. i AM quite wary of the straps tho. but hey, what are cobblers for then? heheh

i wear the powerpulse insole, and yea, psychologically they make me feel i can kick through a wall. i feel my kicking has improved in terms of power. my crossing has never been better, and my clearance of the ball has improvd.

all in all, i love the boots. they fit my feet well. but u have got to try em out first. hope this helps.

i dont have absolutes but if you get mvIII you have got nothing to worry about..they get dirty fairly easily but they arent hard to clean..i dont even think i have any scuffs..and my friend has absolutes and the tounge is big its just soccer.com

Dood! As people have been saying they're not ripping! Get it through ur head, They're not just gonna rip like that (snap). They're high quality boots ( Predator) I mean u cant just keep saying they're gonna rip. I think you.ve heard enough of good things about the abs just go out and but em' and tell us how they are aight. Thank you very much.

yea i get ur concern.. well, i have the boots for 3 months now, and they still feel brand new, albeit softer and more molded to my feet. i havent seen any rip or any damage yet. and i believe if u take good care of them, like cleaning them after use, and applying dubbin or leather food and keeping them in a good place after cleaning, so they will dry naturally, i guess they will hold up real nice..
