maybe its to expensive or to difficult to use small pieces of k-leather for boots.
i guess, it would be nice to know how many kangaroos have to die every year for soccer boots!?

Hehe. Touchy subject that one mate. A lot of volatile carnivores on here
Juniors may be given calf skin because Adidas realises they can get away with it, as kids don't always bother about minute differences in performance as they would be hard-pressed to notice them

i think, that cant be the only reason, because there are a lot of little players with small feet. and they may also use junior boots (size 39 for example). i know somoeone, who played in the 4th german league and i think players like him notice the difference.
and a few years ago, a player called breitkreuz played for hansa rostock (1st german league) and he also had small feet and a junior size...
but if u think of kids, then u r right. i also think, that they dont notice the difference...

Yeah, its not going to be the only reason, but it may be part of it.

one word. price.
k leather is about 3 times more expensive per square foot than full grain calf leather. (of course actual prices may vary, depending on the material), and frankly speaking most parents dont want to pay too much for a boot that a kid may grow out of.
that would be my guess, anyhow.

But a large part of the price of adult boots goes on VAT (in the UK, at least), as kids don't pay VAT on clothes/footwear, so its not all price of material. There's also a big difference between calf leather boots in adult sizes and junior sizes.

here in the states the absolutes are double what the calf leather (absolado?!) cost. Actually, all adidas boots run that way---F50 go for $170 while the F30s run about $80...
