I have no idea why, but I find that I slip often when cutting, and since I'm a defender this often proves hazardous because I then have to sprint to catch up with the attacker when I should have had the easy tackle in the first place. I've been looking up the Diadora Totti's, and the technology on the studs seems to prevent slipping, any opinions?

and seriously get soft grounds for muddy conditons...they dont necesarrily need to be expensive ones btut the sixstud pattern helps leaps and bounds...i noticed a huge changes when i started gettin sg boots liek 3 years ago

Sounds like you need some soft ground boots, They will really help your grip, with Fg boots you usuall end up on your arse when cutting.
Soft ground boots on hard ground obviously are not suitable, unfortunatly I had to cope when I was younger (parents could see the need for two pairs of boots), I reckon thats is one of the reasons I picked up shin splints.
I have 2 pairs of boots, World Cups for SG and Puma Kings for FG. Both very comfortable and perform well.
If you cant afford a pair of FG boots aswell get boots with screw in studs (i.e World Cups) you could swap the studs for smaller, rubber ones for FG and HG. That also the Idea behind the Tunits (one pair of boots for all surfaces).
Hope that helped
