MaRtin!
My next boots will be Legends or Absolutes, but I can't decide, which I buy!

Price is almost same.
But can you help me?

I have atm Pulses(FG) and I like them, they are very powerfully, soft and comfortable, best boots ever(first quality boot, because I had before them only lowest versions). I like the leather too, soo good.
I prefer Adidas for playing outside pitch, but indoor I prefer Nike.

Or I buy MVIII or Tunits?

I dont know, I am confused. thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif

if im well informed, the legends are much cheaper (50-80$) than the absolutes...
Henry 14
legends they are quality, better than absolutes imo and will probably be cheaper
Suutsch
if u havent got any problems with pulses, take absolutes. the fitting and sizing is the same... but ull also get the new powerpulse technology.
as the others said, the prize isnt the same but the prize for both, legend and abs, is fair.
just listen to ur stomach and choose puma king exec wink.gif --- best boots, ive ever worn.
MaRtin!
Damn, I don't know.

Absolutes I get with 90 pounds, but Legends for 80 pounds.
Absolute fitting is same? and sizeing? wink.gif Dam, good then. Then I have to get size 6.5 or 7 wink.gif But Legends? wink.gif

Yeh ..
madmike89
try both and c how they feel....I have Legends and love them....prob the best boot i have ever had....I have not tried Absolutes though.....I did have Pulse for a while but found them to be uncomfortable so i took them back plus i had seen my teammates' pulses didn't hold up so well.

I have not heard anything negative about the Absolute, but it is still fairly new compared to the Legend which I have not heard anything negative about either.

It is all a matter of what feels good though....my foot didn't feel good in pulses but feel fantastic in Legends

on another note, i think Legends are more for an average to wide foot where as absolutes are more for a narrow to average...I felt my foot was too wide for pulses but fit perfectly in Legends.

Hope this helps in sum sense

I will say though that Air Legends are well worth the money and that they are the second best selling boot at my local soccer store only behind the Puma King Exec i

as madmike (indirectly) said, that ur feet have to feel comfortable, u should try them on (both) and decide, how do u feel with both, legends and abs. madmike is an example for feeling good with nike. im the opposite. i had air zoom 90s at august and they hurted my feet, because the studs (i had FG) pressed and hurted even on muddy soft-grass-ground. so, i gave them back, went on playing with my pulsion SG and waited until last week for new FGs (see my sig wink.gif).
but i wouldnt say, that the predators (all have the same sizeing (an adidas-guy told me)) are for "narrow to average" feet, because i have quite wide feet and i felt or feel quite comfortable with predators. my umbros are wider, maybe a bit to wide, but its ok. and in the middle of predators and umbros are the king execs, that fit perfectly for me (my father havent got them as fg).

well, try them on
and if u take abs, ull need to take the same size as ur pulses (because u were unsure). or maybe u r very young and ur feets are still growing...
MaRtin!
Yep, that's the problem - my foot is too small at the moment.

My parents will buy me 45488 pairs when my leg stops growing.
But when I buy atm nr 7, after 3 month they are small for me.
I am 13 years old and my foot number is 6.5(6 are my predators) UK.

And there is one problem too, I can't try them on in my country! I don't ask advice, when I can try on them.

oh

if u can have absolutes or legends at the age of 13 or lets say if u can have boots for 120-200 € at the age of 13, you should take them in in ur size, in the next and the following size...
i think, u dont need boots like absolute or legends when ur feet are growing or when u r a kid/teen.
when i was younger (the € wasnt there at time), i just had boots about 50-60€ and i think its ok for a kid/teen at that age. maximum would be absolion or boots about 100€. ok, if u can get them very cheap, then u could get some...but i dont think, that u need such boots. buy cheaper ones and spend the rest of the money.
and if u are a good player, u will be good in cheaper boots, too...

personally i think young kids wearing really nice boots is kinda flashy. if i were you i would go with some kelme masters. I had the original and found that they were mega comfy and still are in great shape and that was from 4/5 yrs ago. i haven't tried on the new ones but they look sick. but if you think about it your 13 and i dont know many thirteen year olds who can bend the ball so well that the pred. technology is actually effective or their touch is so great that they need legends to help them out. just go for an inexpensive but comfortable pair and prove to yourself you can play without the fancy stuff then add it in later!!!!!

or you could not take my advice at all and go for the legends cuz they are nicer than the preds imo bigsmile.gif hump.gif thumbsup.gif

i started in the age of 10 with the predator accellerator, and i had all the following predators
i dont think its flashy
metropolis2k
They do fit differently so you might find one more comfortable with the other. The other big difference is the stud / blade configuration. You should base your decisions on your preferences for those as well as which ones fit better.

this was my same problem, choosing between the abs and the legends. i have the pulses and like them, but decided to choose the legends because the price was $80 cheaper and the abs have way too much plastic on them. the legends are great, the best boots ive owned or played in, and ive played in alot of boots (me and my friends are the same size) and theyre better than execs or masters or anything else ive played in

This guy might want some good boots. He's not really asking ur opinion about if he should get first class boots even tho hes young but he wants to know Abs or Legends, ut I can see ur point but still young doods can have good boots to. They're are still pretty good 13-14 year olds. thumbsup.gif my opioion. But i say Abs cuz the predator series is simply amazing. cheers1.gif
MaRtin!
Thank you!

I don't want Abslion or lower version, with them I can't get feeling, lol smile.gif I tried Pulsions. Bad, they gave me blisters and they were so, I don't know how to say, heavy or something.

But Pulses are gooooood.
I go for Adidas then, but when I grow bigger, I can get 2 pairs of booots and then I buy my fuckin' legends!

Or what? wink.gif

And I buy Absolutes, when the summer starts or before and I have time till the price is lower. Then my Predators will be small for me.

hobanger
Just stick with a pair of copas - if they seem to be a bit too old for you go for the 7406's. Dont go half a size down or anything cause at the moment your at prime growth- and because of the leather on these they should hopefully compensate for your growth... hopefully - another honourable mention would be diadora attivas - very very good boot as well.

if you ask me, personally i wouldnt get either. i have the adidas absolutes white/gold, and the elements dont work for crap. but on the other hand, the legends are not quality boots if you plan on shooting alot. They have good touch but arent for shots. I would get some puma cellerator 5 zero. Great all around boots, but dont get them if you got some fatty wide feet.

Without any disrespect what the hell are you taking about, legends 'aren't for shots'.I suppose Ronaldinho is evidence that they aren't 'good for shots'.If they are comfortable and have a good touch (which i personally think they do) then obviously you will be able to shoot fine, unless you simply can't shoot,in which case it doesnt matter which boots you wear.

I'm curious before I buy a pair of legends, how long does it take for the upper to start seperating from the lower? It took my preds about 2 months, how long do you think legends would last?
Lampard123
I've had my legends for 4 months now and they are in perfect condition. As long as you look after them and clean them after each game/practice then i wouldn't worry about the sole seperating.
MaRtin!
Umm, I don't know.

Usually I am free kick taker.

But, yeh ..

I go for Absolutes, I think, because I get them from my club, with good price.
Legends, I don't know. NICE, but I can't try them on sad.gif

Dam, I want to live in country, what has got all the boots, damn!
In my country, there is only MVIIIs ( ~200£ ) and F50+ ( blackandwhite ) and Pulses ( dragon and classic ). sad.gif

yeah thats a pretty ludicrous statement. i have both pairs (cell k not synthetic) and i shoot a hell of a lot better in the legends, better than i do in my pulses as well. legends are the good boot, but if you get abs cheap then go for them and wait for the legends to drop in price

Legends are dirt cheap for such a quality K-leather boot.. I was considering the 2 as well. The abs' black/white/gold do appeal more to me than the legends just white/gold. Haven't tried either boot but I'm just looking at comfort and durability.
I've been hearing from many ppl that legends are heavy? How is it compared to abs? or pulses?
