I would just like to take some time here and recognize the Virginia Tech school shooting. This is quite possibly the worst school shooting in the history of the United States. Many innocent students and teachers were hurt or killed during this tragic incident. My heart goes out to family and friends of these victims, and hope that one day they might be reunited.

Please DO NOT post any pictures of the killer, but feel free to post comments, reactions, or stories about this incident.

My heart goes out to all the people affected by this. My sister goes to University in Ottawa right now, and I couldn't imagine if anything happened to her. I'd also like to mention Liviu Librescu. He was a 76 year-old professor and a Holocaust survivor. He blocked the doorway of his classroom so that his students could escape and was shot and killed.

I hadn't heard of this but it sounds awful, my respect and deep sorrow to all those affected

^I heard about him as well. That took alot of courage and bravery. And to go through the Holocaust too!

I think it probably is. Did you have to cut around the whole boot and then put it on the background? It looks clear. I put a layer of colour as a background, then blended them so mine is blurry.

its quite simple to see just look behind "adidas predator" and theres the wolf

I got the image opened, ctrl+a then ctrl+c (copy the whole image), then ctrl+d to de-select it. I then filled in the pic the colour I wanted (in this case, a fade), created a new layer, ctrl+e to paste the image on the new layer, ctrl+d to de-select it, then clicked layers>properties>blend mode = soft light

You can request one in the Graphics Requests sub-forum. Or you can make on yourself using Adobe photoshop.

Sorry to say I'll be leaving for the weekend. I'm going to Ohio to play some games with my club against some Super Y teams, which are supposed to be pretty good. We'll see how it goes. I'll try and swing by the motel computer (if it has one) and see what's going on, but I'm not promising anything. There are 3 Adidas Outlets in Ohio, but sadly I don't think I'll get the chance to visit any. Maybe if I beg my parents enough, haha. Alrighty then, see you all later. Last day of school ever a week friday!! we're trying to come up with some things to do. We're going to go to the school during the thursday night, maybe actually break into the building. One of my mates knows this kid who lives on a farm and owns his own monster truck, and we might get some farm animals, sheep, goat, and place them in the school building. Also going to glue porn all over the windows and all over the corridors etc. Oh yeah, and i'm going to spike the communal canteen water dispenser with vodka. A lot of vodka. Anyone got any other good ideas?

so today after the varsity game gets over today (highschool) and the JV game is up next and on the JV we have 2 korean exchange students who are MANU Drones. know very lil about the club but say they are fans. and because i had a game i had to tape the game between liverpool and chelsea and the first thing i hear is CHELSEA LOSE CHELSEA LOSE in bad english, man i was so pissed

The wierdest thing happened last night. I had a dream where I tried on the F50s and they fit like gloves! I was pretty disappointed when I woke up.

i had one in my juniour school lol, i guess i'm lucky.

I wouldn't worry about it...it happens to me all the time. My all-time favorite boot dream was a bit before a bought my Goals:
In my dream, I owned an Adidas soccer boot store. The store had spiral stairs and as you went up, you picked out which boots you wanted. There were so many different kinds...it was unbelievable. But at the very top of the stairs, in a box, on a pedastool, there they were. The Adidas F50+ Goal! Edititons. I remember just staring at them. The weird thing was was it was my store, so I don't know why I was so amazed at them.
And I few days later, I bought my Goals. Sweet?!?!

haha. That sounds pretty cool. I find it amazing how you can wake up from a dream and not be able to figure out if it actually happened for almost ten minutes. I wish even half the dreams i've had were real, because if they were, i'd have a pretty amazing life! Just got done watching some chick flick (with a chick, don't worry) called Elizabethtown, where the guy's a shoe designer. Thinking about how amazing a job that would be.
