^Thats cool that you can do that. I was thinking I could get cardio by running there and then lift for strength. Chances are slim though of even getting a membership, though. Also, I destroyed my knee while playing outside during vacation and I am finally beginning to get all of the flexibility back. It felt like it needed cracked really badly, but if I cracked it, I was afraid of the tissue breaking and my bone going the wrong direction. I'm falling apart...

Spinning classes are unbelievable for building up your speed, and power in your legs. Althought they need alot of commitment, and i have to say there are the hardest training i have EVER done, they are torture, but the benefits are huge.

Being soccer.com also gets them a lot of hits from people just searching soccer in general. I think they used to have a soccer news section a couple years ago.

The worst is my knees and hips. But now I am beginning to feel it in my ankles and even in my shoulders and wrists. I feel like an old man. Is there some sort of good therapy for this or something to help me. It hurts and it feels like I am getting slower because of it.

Yea, I feel it. Best thing to do is stretch a lot before and after you play. Everyone has just told me they're natural growing pains. Go have a look in the players and coaches forum. I think they have some advice in there.

Jun 25 2007, 09:33 PM
^I'm beginning to give up in that forum. I've heard so many ways on how to get faster, stronger, and healthier that I am confused, haha. Theres people that say they run 10 second 100 meters and are 15 years old, and at the same time, they are giving me advice.
Anyway, yeah, I've went to the a few doctors and they tell me I'm growing. Well, bloody hell, I've been hurting forever, give me treatment, haha. I guess I'm just frustrated about lots of things right now.
Hey, IM me back on yahoo, Predator.

Deep Heat cream works well on aches and pains, smells awful though. Like I said before, I sprained my ankle again on Friday and on Saturday and Sunday I kept putting the cream on and I was out playing football again today, fell on it which hurt a bit but generally it feels better now.

^Yeah right. Crew beating Foothills? That'll happen!!!

^I'm the same as you. I can never seem to get into good shape. After alot of running, I can't breath deeply; when I do, it feels like a burning cold sensation and it makes me cough. And my stomach just aches really badly like someone is kicking me from the inside.

as far as fitness u guys should try to do spinning, when u start it gets ur legs stronger because they move the whole 40 mins. and then when u get ur leg strength up u do target heart rates so its pretty intense

im pretty sure theres ways to avoid being injury prone and u shouldnt have to restrict yourself from playing. what happened?
