Hey arsenax, are you ever going to return to the boots and gear thread on BS? I know you left because you were upset about something, but you should start posting again. I found you were one of the only level-minded posters in there.
Does anyone here watch Arrested Development? I was watching the first season again last night and I nearly pissed myself laughing!

Thanks mate, much appreciated. I've been reading the threads over at BS, but I don't really feel the need to contribute yet. I enjoyed writing and contributing to the threads over there, but there seemed to be so many attitudes and sillyheads (lol) on the board that it seemed more like I was trying to defend my opinions then actually chat about the actual gear! Now that I'm finished exams I may begin to visit there more, but I'll see how things go.

I know what you mean. That's the problem with forums. People can say whatever they want without to others without having to look them in the face or understand how what they say affects that person. I guess at the end of the day you just need to take things with a pinch of salt. I'm sure most of the people on there were just having a bit of fun.

part of my plans this summer was to get bigger and lift alot of weights but im really skinny, and my mom was just calling this guy to talk about a diet and the guy is having me over to lift, now im supposed to lift with him...(i know u guys are going to think im full of crap but if u read muscle and fitness this guy works out with jim romagna)
my older brother has a man crush on him

HAHA, thats actually the movie that got me into jumping rope. They just need some hotter girls in that movie and I'm HOOKED!
Anyway, I think a diet/lifting trainer would be awesome if not so expensive and hard to find.

It wasn't so much that I was affected by members' comments, its just that they were getting a bit lame and old, and some members were just too annoying to handle, so I just really felt it wasn't that much fun anymore. Anyways, that was ages ago, so no worries...
As for Case - he is a legend and is on par the BS poster I respect most - no one can tell a story like he can!

im pretty sure theres ways to avoid being injury prone and u shouldnt have to restrict yourself from playing. what happened?
just i got a lot of soreness around my thighs..
i constantly have ankle and calf problems, this season i took someone on the wing and i heard a crack in my knee.. i jumped to the sidelines and went to the doctor. he said there was nothing that he could see which a little out of the ordinary, but dont put a lot of pressure on it. since then its never felt the same.
i'm very very cautious about how far i push my body in soccer, the knee problem is scaring me, every other problem i have is just up to a few weeks on bench or whatever.

About BS - at first I found it a little annoying for alot of reasons, but i've grown to like it mainly because of the people. There's more of a "community" feel to it. However, in terms of content, it doesn't hold a candle to SP. So in that essence, SP is much more informative, and there's alot more good information on here.
Ze, you need to do something to get people interested in the group again. I'll stick with it as long as it's still going, but you need to start things like discussions on hot girls, ratings, etc. - that sort of thing.

Speaking of Adidas, I've always wondered how other people pronounce Adidas. Adi-duz, or Adi-dass? I say it the second way. To me, it makes more sense because the name Adidas came from ADI DASsler. In that case, the second pronunciation is correct. On another note... I NEED A JOB!!!

I was watching G4 all week about the iPhone. I wasn't really impressed. The internet connection will be really slow. The only cool thing was moving the touch screen. You can pinch to zoom and drag to move. It doesnt seem to have as many capabilities as the Helio does, too.
The Helio service that I want is 65$ per month. That's actually the cheapest in the All-In plan. I would get unlimited everything except only 500 daytime minutes. But I play girls in the nighttime, so I definitely won't need that many daytime minutes. I'll probably text my brains out, though, especially with the QWERTY pad. I have enough money now, so as soon as I get my paycheck, I can buy the phone and activate it. Then, I guess I will still have to work the rest of the summer to pay the $780 for yearly service.

Indecisive? You'd be the same as me then. If i'm ordering a pair of boots, for example, I'll look at them for a few days, ask everyone on SP, ask my friends and family, ponder over it for a couple more days, and then change my mind ten times when I go to order them. And that's just for boots, you can only imagine what i'd be like with something more expensive.

I think he's probably the best choice to wear it. Everybody thought Anderson would get it, but he hasn't played a single game in red and 10 is an awful important number. I mean it was worn by the legend Law, it was Becks old number, and more recently by Ruud. I think it will give Wayne some motivation to live up to the #10.
Red Carbon
Jun 30 2007, 08:46 PM
That's a good point. It just seems odd that he would do that. Most players want to keep whatever number they're given, no matter what it is, for all their career, so that people will always associate them with it. For example, when Becks had 23 at Madrid, and kept it at L.A. for brand purposes. Actually, I had my number switched from 2 to 8 on my team this season because #2 was a size medium, which was too small. I was sort of happy because Wazza wore it, which was a plus, but now he's switched, so I don't know who to associate it with

Although I hear Hargreaves will be wearing #8 this season, which is almost better, because he's a fellow Canadian!... Or
was.
