Before I even checked the results I checked how my fantasy was doing and I saw that Toure gave up two goals! Watched the game and couldnt believe my eyes. Fantastic result. I was going to ask the same question that Brian asked. How often do you go to Mid. games, Adam?

I'm a season ticket holder so I get to every home game. I'm looking to go to the Sunderland away game aswell but none of my mates seem interested. If I was honest I'd say that Arsenal were poor but it was still a great win for us, havn't had chills from the atmosphere since the UEFA Cup nights, it was amazing. The Riverside was empty because Southgate still hasn't won the fans over and we all thought that we'd get beat.

Get from where to where? I guess you could always walk... or taxi.

Anyways, travelling via greyhound with all the elderly travellers is a time honoured tradition in the counrty. Just coach it.

QUOTE(AB#23 @ Nov 29 2007, 01:46 PM)

your fitness will be a big thing, if your not fit then dont bother turning up.
im in the same situation in a way, i have trials with sunderland on the 4th of december and a few weeks after aswell, but i only arrive in england on the 3rd from australia, so jet lag will be heavy as it is 9 hours differance. but if you can keep your fitness up, make sure you keep your touch as in just kick a ball about when you arent training, becuz in england physical aspects can be developed but natural abilty cant. so the gym membership would be a bonus.

Townsville, Queensland, just down from Cairns. Its where you go to get to Magnetic Island. And Rainbow Beach is down near Brisbane and you go there for Fraser Island (74 mile beach!).
Aye, but I was lookigng for a cheaper way to do it, or quicker.
I think I'm going to Premier Motor Service it down, saves me $90 bucks - the Greyhound was going to be about $240 booking it this late, but even a few days ago it'd have been $170, which is shit. Going down the East Coast, then going straight from Noosa to Sydney, then going back up from Sydney to Brisbane and doing Brisbane to Sydney on the OzBus. Don't want to be in the middle of nowhere for Christmas...

I know where townsville is. Was just messing.

Fek, for $240 it'd almost be cheaper to fly to brisbane and then get back to rainbow beach from there wouldnt it?
Damn straight thats a fucked up way of doing it. Whats wrong with a steady southward progression?

Brisbane is great, probably one of my favourite places in the whole country. Then again, sydney is too.

Sydney would probably be better for christmas tho. Make sure you enjoy the brisbane-sydney trips. Theres some great spots and stuff to see on the NSW north coast, especially this time of year. Then again, you scottish folk probably dont go much on the beachy stuff.
