So what's everyone's christmas/christmas eve traditions? My family usually goes to church at 5:00, then we eat supper when we get back. After that, my grandma comes over and we open our christmas eve gift (pyjamas and a book), and then my dad reads us all the Polar Express. It may seem a little corny and childish, but it's one of those things that I've always enjoyed. It's pretty much the only time of the year where my family isn't bitching at eachother!

Getting ready to eat now, church at 9, come home and watch A Christmas Story(you'll shoot your eye out), then bed. Get up tomorrow, open presents and then go to my grandparents' house for the day. But yea I'm like you the stuff that sounds childish is what makes the season amazing, everyones just like a happy little kid at Christmas.

I celebrated christmas yesterday (24 december, as everyone does in norway) my tradition is to wake up as early as possible and go hunting for the christmas sock ( basically a huge sock filled with candy, magazines and little presents ) then we eat a loong breakfast and watch christmas cartoons starring mickey and donald. Later, around 6 pm, the guest arives ( we have always been me, my momma and daddy, my brother and grandpa and grandma and my uncle and my aunt and my cousines. but not this year cause my aunt just invited my grandma and grandpa and not us, so i kinda hate them now exept for my little cousine, theres still hope for him:P) then we eat a looong dinner and desert... After the dinner we open presents one by one, so you have to practice the i-really-liked-this-present look if you got something you didnt like, cause everyone is looking at you... then, after a hour or two, the guest goes home, i put on some comfy close and hang around at soccerpulse

I don't really do tradition. Go to midnight mass on Christmas eve then wake up early on Christmas day because I can't sleep. I would normally go to my Nan and Grandads with all my family but they're all in Newcastle with my auntie because she has to work later. I would normally go too but my mam couldn't see the point in driving an hour to Newcastle just to have a 1-2 hour dinner then drive an hour back. My god it feels sad to be on SP on Christmas

we are spanish and the tradition my family has is different then others in American, at least around here. anyways we have a nice family dinner, open presents and relax. christmas day we open presents from Santa and then we just relax. Im getting a truck so thats cool as my car is basically dead

Alright gents and the occasional lady, I've got an idea for a possible thread. We all have the most wanted boots(Manias, rare Vapor colors etc.), but what about a most owned boot thread with a poll. and my christmas tradition is quite stupid. We go to my aunts house for christmas morning and open presents from my family. then we go home at twelve only to go back out at 4 to my other aunts house for christmas dinner.... so annoying

how is it stupid, im training and working out so i can never eat crap. so the holidays I take advantage and pig out, and two meals.... wel that sounds good, unless your eating brussel sprouts

Yes and I love it. Only game I've got is Fifa and I played with my friends all day. Only thing that sucks is I only have 1 controller so we couldn't play each other. You get one as well?

Ok guys, I'm going to be away for a couple days for new years. I probably won't get to a computer at all til tuesday/wednesday so I want to all to play it cool and keep is as plesant as possible in here. Hopefully pubes will be around and I know alot of you more senior regulars do a great job as de-facto mods anyway but I would appreciate you all making the extra effort, particularily the wat things are at the moment.

Yeah I got mine for Christmas Pro Evo is class but I havn't got into FIFA just yet, I'm finding it hard to get used to the controls - last FIFA I had was like FIFA '02. I'm pestering my mam for a new TV now, the TV I'm using just doesn't do the PS3's graphics justice

Also, like Crofty, I will be away for New Year. I'll be gone from the 30th till the 3rd so it isn't too long. I won't be at a computer either.

I'll be buying my ps3 in January so won't be long to wait .

doestn that suck. I got a ps3 a year ago and I was ok with it, playing rainbow six and having fun, and then i played it on my buddies flatscreen and was amazes. I saved up and got a 42inch plasma and its amazing looking at Riberys vapors in fifa and rooneys sweat ha ha
on another not I was playing indoor soccer, but it wasnt that all weather turf it was the old carpet turf anf the guy we played on, was wearin adipures, i was so mad seeing them scuffed

So seeing as we're on a ps3 discussion, What games do you guys have?

I have:
Assassin's Creed - Quality graphics, great gameplay, just a bit too many lengthy videos to endure.
Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 - Amazing attention to detail, I have it for PS2 aswell and it is clear how they put alot more effort into the PS3 version.
FIFA 2008 - Looks fantastic but havn't really played it much as of yet.
The Simpsons - Looks a great game but it is a bit short, I completed about 10% of it in the first half hour. I think my copy is faulty as it isn't saving the game.
Ridge Racer 7 - Awesome. Great gameplay, graphics are amazing too.

I am looking to get Time Crisis and GTA next.

I was always curious about Guitar Hero 3. I played on an older version and I was shite at it. Do you think that Guitar Hero is something that you can become good at? I don't play guitar, by the way.

its funny i sucked at the earlier one. i play a bit of real guitar and this one is fun too. Id say get it just because the music is good and the guitar is wireless

i dont play guitar but i play it and if i know the song i can play it on the hard difficulty, u get better with time, if u try and beat the game u have to work through each level of difficulty so ull get better fast

my friend has it and his brother has a weird pinky finger and listens to his ipod while he plays its sick how good he is playing like that, its like hes sabotaging himself but wins
