Oh fuck... We had our first pre-season training session today after no indoor sessions in the winter I have to say, this is the worst shape I've been in in well over a year and a half. I threw up pretty badly, which doesn't happen to me too often. Plus the weather's outrageously hot here for this time of year (28 celcius). The worst part of it all is we barely have enough players to field a team (we lost a lot of guys to hockey. Since it's their draft year they had to choose between the two), so it's looking like we might not have a team

United 100%! Don't get me wrong, I like watching Barca, but when it comes to the two teams facing each other it's unquestionably United. I contemplated whether or not to put Barca and Celtic in my favourite teams list since I don't so much support them as I enjoy watching them play. I've just got a soft spot in my heart for them.

no no no no not this pleeeease not this. Im injured again, bad, weekend before state. Both of the main muscles on the top of my thighs feel like their ripping when i sprint, and now I just found out the club I have been dieing to leave my current one for is having tryouts RIGHT when im in Europe this summer.


To top it all off, one of my favorite people in the whole world and a close family member of mine had some form a stroke but it affected her brain yesterday, so she might not be the same anymore if you all know what i mean. Fuck this. And I just got word that one of my mother's oldest friends had a heart attack today and died, what the fuck is wrong with this world.

About the injury. Its not too serious. I know it doesn't feel like its nothing but I went through the same thing. At the beginning of last fall my coach ran us really hard for preseason and after like the fourth day all of a sudden when i wanted to run, my quads (muscles on top of your thighs) litteraly felt like they were ripping apart. I found out that i actually pulled both of the muscles. So yeah, the longest you should be out for is 1-2 weeks. And remember to take hot baths and ice them occasionally, not too much. Sorry about the rest of your situation too, hope all goes well

I want to, Im hoping my mother will get it arranged for one of these afternoons since I cant miss anymore classes. Ill have to sleep on ice or something tonight since it makes it feel much better until I jerk my leg again. This is really annoying, since without this injury I could easily dominate opposing teams after all this training ive done since last year. And the tryouts for the club, its NOSA, my age group this year usually plays with Ajax's youth team in the summer but they didnt have a team, and 2 of the u18s got signed by divion 2 dutch clubs so I NEED to get in the club asap.

Pfftt, everything always goes my way doesn't it? haha, Im keeping my head up and Im a bit more rational then in that 1st post, but I just cant figure out why everything ALWAYS goes against me. I mean, I know you have to prove yourself to people in life but not ALL THE TIME...





State cup is this coming weekend, and Im in terrible shape as it is. this is like a crisis week for me right now, since I have to recover litteraly in 5 days WHILE getting back into shape. Ive sworn to myself I would get over with state cup this season for D1 and makeup for my awful last season with my freak back injury and this one, I promised myself that If I won it this year I would force myself to do whatever it takes to play top flight football here. I cant remember a night where I havent dreamt of playing for an academy or really high calibre youth team...Its do or die for me.

Right pointer or index or whatever you want to call it. It's nothing serious though. On Friday when we first went in to the emergency room and took x-rays they said there was no fracture and it was only sprained. Then this morning they call and after looking over the x-rays again they said its broken. Real professionals we have here It happened when I was playing soccer in gym class (it's complete joke, to be honest). Some kid pushed me over and I landed on my side. I didn't notice anything at first but the it started to throb and began to bruise, swell, and it looked like it was bent to one side. Hopefully itll be healed up again soon, but I can still play footy nonetheless.

division 1 in Lousiana. My coach tells me I really could be playing much higher, and last year I had my back surgery during the tryouts for premiere so I did nowhere near as good as I could have. I cant wait to wear a NOSA (other local club here) shirt and scoring against the superman C-U-N-T first team of the club im at right now.

Premiere or classic or whatever you want to call it. It's basically the highest club level you can get in the US. Of course there's Odp and a bunch of other stuff involved that makes it really complicated to explain to a person who doesn't actually live in the Us. There's not any divisions or youth professional teams. None of the MLS clubs have academies although some are starting to form. How bout you?

i play in state youth league (u18s) in australia, i play for a decent team our reserves have won league and cup 2 years running our first team is up and down and the 18s are the same. its my second year of 18s and hopefully moving to reserves at the end of the season. ive trialed in england b4 but really i was coming back to australia to finish school.
