PSG 3 to 1 AGAINST AUXERRE! FUCK YES!!!
And for state today we played the first game at 8 in the morning against last year's best team in the state (they have never been under 2nd place) and I opened up the score by outrunning everyone and passing the ball to the post, but out defence slipped for short moments and got scored ONLY in those moments by 3 goals, 92nd minute I get the ball at the halfway line, chip it over myself, take a shot, and THE F*CKING THING HITS THE CROSS BAR!!!
2nd game they got a cheap goal early on but I was completely dominating the entire game and opened up at least 5 beautiful chances for other teammates and had one of the nicest megs I thing I will ever perform in my life haha, but the game got rained out bad and we play them tomorow on a cleansheet 0-0, so Ill be looking to get revenge for that goal. All in all, far far better performance then last year. I'm still not staying with this team next year though...

Unlucky is all we can say. It's annoying that often we never see that call. For me, that just doesn't qualify as handling the ball. I think he was obviously pulling his hand back. It's also difficult to say this contact put Chelsea at a disadvantage. It's frustrating that we can never win at that dump, but remember boys if we take care of business vs. the Hammers and Wigan we're champions. If we don't win the title, it's on us.

That was a definate penalty, he had his hand in the way. He tried to move it back but why was it there in the first place - he changed the direction of the ball with his hand so its a penner.

ronaldo and rooney fit and starting wouldve made it different but chelsea had many chances and hit the bar.

Guys, I've got bad news. My team folded

I had to call my coach today to tell him I couldn't come since I was sick and he said it didn't matter since we don't enough returning players to form a team. We lost 4 or 5 to hockey (since it's their draft year, they had to choose one or the other; it seems dumb to me since most of them aren't good enough to ever make it into the NHL) and a couple went to play for another team/with a provincial training program. We only had about 2 or 3 new players sign up, so we're short 5 or 6 players. We've got enough to field a starting Xl plus a couple subs, but ultimately with illness/injury, holidays and fatigue it just wouldn't make sense for us to try and play. The thing is, since our league only had 4 teams in it to begin with (that's including us), the league will have to fold too since there won't be enough teams. Unfortunately, since I live in a town of about 46,000 there's only one team for my age group, so I've got nowhere to play. There's a team in the next city over, but they've already held try-outs, so that's not an option. I'm just so pissed off right now

It's really unfortunate I live in a nation with a national past-time which I have absolutely no interest in

This means I have to play house league (basically just rec. league for those of you outside Canada), which poses a few problems: 1) The level of play is much lower and it's a very non-competitive atmosphere (ie. each player gets equal playing time, and must play in each position). 2) There's only 1 game and possibly 1 practice - depending on how committed your coach is - a week, so I'd be playing much less. 3) They'd never let all of us that were coming from the rep team play together on one team, so we'd all get split up. 4) The season's about two months shorter. 5) Half the players don't want to be there; most of them play solely as a form of exercise. 6) My personal development will be seriously hindered. I was really happy with my rep coaches - I feel like I've learned so much from them.
Oh well, at least I've still got my HS season
