yeh when they confirmed that AIG had become our new sponsors i did a google on them, looked at their website and their logo and said..OMFG UGLY!! its just so plain 3 letters, this cant possibly look good on the new nike retro range of shirts >.< because its going to be all plain!

Utd will still have vodafone on thier shirts til the end of the season won't they. I thought that the cancellation of the vodafone contract didn't come into effect til June or something.

No it wasn't. Your owner would be breaching NFL rules by having financial dealings with a gambling company.

Well as mentioned i dont think the kit mentioned would definately be the kit for next season.. i think its just an example of the kit with AIS logo ontop of it, nowhere on the site does it say this kit will be used for next season, and as the socks short are exactly the same i really don't think they will be used.

Reds: We're Staying In Blue Next Season

United are reassuring fans who've bought the blue away kit that the colour and design will be retained next season.

The only part of the shirt that will change is the sponsor logo. Vodafone will be replaced by AIG, following Thursday's announcement of the £56.5m deal with the financial services group.

A spokesman for United said: "Under the terms of our Club Charter, we are entitled to change all of our kits for next season. But we thought it would be fairest to our fans if we kept the blue kit, given it was only introduced last summer.

"The AIG logo will be on all of our shirts from the start of 2006/07, but otherwise the blue shirt will be identical to the one worn by the players during the current season."

United will launch two kits this summer - a new red home shirt and one new away kit.

loadsa people r sayin that we turned mansion down coz of the bad image, it wernt even that, mansion wer the ones who called it off with us coz united were talking to 3 different companies at once and mansion didnt like it

they dont agree that if your in further negotiations then why would a club want to speak to other people at the same time, but its exactly wat david gill said, we had to find the best possible deal for the club, so why talk to 1 company at any 1 time

No johngreenway that's what LG did... Mansion seriously wanted to be signed with us, but Anson cut them off at the last minute, thats why they were so pissed.

I think next seasons home Utd shirt will have a bit more black on it. That one looks a bit like the shirt floating around these forums that is supposed to be Arsenal's shirt for next season. I think Utd's away shirt for next season will be white.

I emailed the Man Utd megastore and they said the new kit will be released in July but thats all they would tell me. I love the close up Utd badge on Nikefootball.com, looks like maybe our kit will be red with gold trim

Yeah if you look at the close up Utd badge on nikefootball.com it looks like there is a shield sort of shape around the badge, like the Holland shirt. On the Holland shirt there is badge showing the lion, then the shield around it. Maybe, the close up badge shown on nikefootball.com in the soul of football section, will be Utd's badge on the next home kit.

Go on nikefootball.com then products, then it will bring up the vapor 3's but click on the main products part. Then there is a map, click on manchester and it will have pictures of Ronaldo modelling things, the badge should be there.
