ok.. like i said before i havent played for a good year(maybe 8 months or so).. and i got back and already im in my 2 week of training...in this 8 months i gained a lot of wieght and when i started playing, training and running my knees would hurt like hell and my muscles too..
but im worried about my knees... could it be that from the weight i gained (30 pounds ) that my body is not used to it and thats why my knees hurt, cuz im putting pressure on them by running and training hard now
are there some tips about this and how to get rid of the pain.. it always hurts after a game or after a small session of trainng
sorry for my english, i hope u understand

Just build up your quadriceps and your hamstrings, these are the stabilising muscles with regards to your knee. Also, dont run as much if you find it painful - cycling or swimming is just as beneficial. Hope this helps...[b]

You might need orthotics if it's pain in your knees from simply playing. Or yeah, the weight thing could have an effect on you, but that generally induces ankle injuries I believe.

Man! you should probably lose some weight because that is probably why your knees hurt. The more weight you have the more pressure on your joints. I usesd to have a weight problem and now I lost some weight and now I play better and I don't get as many pains as I used to. And you should also go lift some weights.

cycling helps too. Build up your quads.
You could also try those compression band things that people wear around thier knees. Its like a thin knee bad similar to an ankle brace.

To put it simply you have put weight on that your legs cant handle, its harsh but true. You cant expect to jump straight back into playing and all be well. You are going to need to shift a few pounds or build up your legs. If you are going to go for the lastter remember that building them up is all well and good but you need flexibility to go with it or you will encounter other problems. Some basic streches are all thats needed to achieve this, if you need some pointers give me a PM I will be more than happy to help

BTW Andrew ^^^^ Your posts are becoming a bit repetitive and wern't particulally funny in the first place, not sure what you are trying to achieve but i'm sure people are just skipping straight past you and not paying any notice.

hmm i wasn't meaning that. I guess i was tired the other day but this is what i meant. I really don't think 30 pounds has that much difference. The best thing is not to lose weight....obviously you should have a doctor checking it. Im pretty sure ur knees will get better soon, but for now don't play so hard.

Sorry but I saw a few of your posts along the similar theme. People are genuinely asking for advice and help. There is no need to take the piss.
