http://cgi.ebay.com.au/UFCL-ARSENAL-HOME-S...1742.m153.l1262What do you think? From those pictures the Nike Dri Fit material looks genuine, but I am cautious as he sells only M and XL. Also I know the Nike Sphere Dry label is supposed to be on the front, but I can't tell from those pictures if it is. Label also reads from Morocco. I know some Nike shirts come from Morocco and some from Indonesia. Can someone with an confirmed authentic verify if they are manufactured in Morocco?
Note also it is a long sleeved shirt.
All his shirts are certain fakes. Poor embroidery, poor printing, all the common flaws of fakes. Also the spheredry should be on the back of the Arsenal shirts. and not the front however if you look at the spheredry logo it is poorly printed with cracked excess adhesive around it. Avoid these shirts

definetally. 30pounds for a shirt is cheap considering new shirts are roughly 40pound starting.

Ok this guy in Hong Kong has some , apparantly rare, and pretty authentic looking old-school jerseys...

It seems authentic to me. Compare it to this picture of a gold one from the Arsenal site and it seems pretty much the same pattern of lines. The embroidery seems ok and the inner labels on training gear should be slightly different from replica shirts and there should be no small black nike code label either.

Theres no black tag, but it still says "made in china" and 100% polyester, which as far as I know Nike almost never has, and Ive never had anything made from china by nike, always been Portugal Bulgaria...etc
the QVC sticker on the tag seems weird to me, too

Those details are correct. Very rarely is replica shirts made in China but training wear for various clubs is reguarly made there as well as shorts. Your shirt is genuine.

Just checked the arsenal shop and the shirt you posted is 17% nylon and the rest was poly. This sweatshirt I got here is 100% poly...Im just really uncertain about the tag...if it helps, the seller's name was items4u, you know if hes reputable or not?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Rare-Nike-ARSENAL-Fo...7QQcmdZViewItemUnsponsored sample of the same item you have. Your shirt is authentic and to be honest I don't see what is wrong with the tag. Also the one above is also polyester and more than likely made in china but possibly not as it is a factory sample. However the gold shirt I showed earlier from the Arsenal store is a training shirt and not a sweatshirt so that explains the difference in the material

the grey nikefit label at the neck on the one you just posted is much larger then this one...seems to have an extra bar on it. Maybe this sweatshirt is authentic, but I just dont want to end up feeling screwed over like I did 2 years ago over a fake shirt I bought unknowingly...thats all.

I think you need to be realistic in that yes, there is fake shirts going around but traning gear, no. It is not worth it to be produced as training gear doesn't really sell much anyway and I have never heard of any fake training gear surfacing. I have seen nothing from you sweatshirt to make me concerned

I was looking to buy a jersey and asked a seller how the name/ numbers were applied on a Man U jersey and was responded with hot pressed "polyfex".
Since the cost of jersey is cheap, I think its safe to assume it's fake.
My question is how are the actual Man U jersey numbers like? Are they printed onto the shirt? or still felt like in past?
*edit: found the answer around pg 60... great thread

I didn't want to start a new topic...
So I am looking for this patch

These patches didn't last very long, maybe one or two seasons.
I have them on 3 shirts, all from 2003/04 season, and I need one more pair...
Where can I find these?
anyone?

Onionbag don't have them online anyway. They were only used for 1 season and are almost impossible and expensive to find. Subside don't have them. Your only chance is here but they are £18 per set.

I think the seller is talking crap as it would only make it more irritating if he has cut the tags. That would leave the ragged remains of the tags which could only be fully removed by unstiching the whole area of the shirt and them restiching it back up. The shirt itself looks a bit suspect to me. Not sure about the material and the embroidery. I'd avoid it

Hit and miss really. I would say at a quick glance about 65% of shirts are real and those are mostly the older 90's shirts but the newer shirts are suspect to me. A few shirts are certain fakes and on others while they may look good some things lead me to think they are fake

The 1rst seller SAS Sports if 100% reliable. All are genuine products.
As for the other sellers I cannot really say as they don't give close up pictures of labels, material and embroidery to give a real answer. It is very easy for them to say it is 100% official but on ebay ther are thousands of items that are advertised as 100% official that are fake. The seller may even be not very knowledgeable and think it is official but in reality it is not. You have to be very careful when buying newer Man U shirts on ebay as the majority(I would say 60-70%) are fake.
