Hmm, sorry. I have another question... The retailer does not admit it's not an authentic jersey. Thus I am wondering, with my original post on page 79 if you could provide more clearer pictures (than the ones in the thread that show blurry authenticity tags) that show the difference between an authentic and a fake jersey. Could it be that they sold me a "replica (do they even exist?)," or is it just a plain fake? Also, aren't all Manchester United Jerseys for the 07/08 season made in Morcco, not Portugal? Also, is the nike swoosh on the front supposed to be sewn on?
Is
"Fabique en Portugalde" even correct in French, Since the real one shows "Fabrique au maroc"
He has sold you a fake...pure and simple. Very few fake sellers are ever prepared to admit their shirts are not authentic nike or adidas or whatever. They tell you some bull about how the shirts are bought direct from the manufacturers wholesale arm and that enables them to sell brand new current season shirts at about 25% of the price of the real shirt...should rally set the alarm bells ringing but it is still amazing how many think they are getting the real thing for about 9 or 10 GBP.
Man United home shirts for 0709 should be made in Morocco or Sri Lanka. I have both versions, there is no difference apart from the printed neck label which states place of manufacture. My early season shirts are made in Morocco but the CL Final shirt from the megastore is made in Sri Lanka. I have taken some photos of my shirts and you can judge them against yours and from that it is quite obvious to see you have been sold a fake. For a start the red devils badge appears to be a felt glued on patch on your shirt with no stiching around the edge. That is wrong, it should be a stiched on material patch as on my shirt. If you look at the other photos notice the poor quality of embroidery on you club badge, nike swoosh and nikefit branding and then compare it to my shirts. Much clearer embroidery and detail all round as the embroidery on your shirt shows joining together of the lettering and a rough edge to the swoosh where the embroidery is poorly done. I have taken a photo of the inner label to show what it should be, again completely different to your shirt. Finally the neck label on your shirt is so poorly printed it looks like it is lifting and about to fall off already. Compare it to the printing on my shirts and you can clearly see the difference. The colour is all wrong as well on the neck printing your shirt, dull when it should be very shinny.
Sorry but as you can see you have been sold a clear fake
