Hi treble could you help me please with this issue..

Just today i got the Milan home kit 06-07 from Ebay.. it's size L and according to the seller it's original

but i found some differences with the one i have in my collection..

Left side : My Milan Home Kit (M Size) Right Side : eBay Milan Home Kit (L Size)

ok.. let start the differences..

1. On my Milan kit, the shirt is plain, without pattern, but the one from eBay has this stripe/vertical lines pattern in the jersey (probably can be seen better in later pic)

2. If i turned the kit inside out, my Milan kit has the same black & red pattern, however the one from ebay is simply red..

3. Now if i take look on the small red part on the back (below Rossoneri wording).. my milan home kit is bit half circle.. but the one from ebay is more like triangle

4. If i check on the back of the embroidery part (Milan Logo), my Milan kit has some protective cloth, while the one from eBay are simply stitched on the jersey, or probably the protective layer is gone after the guy wash it over and over.. not really sure

my question is

Does the one from eBay Original or fake ? as if we check originality from the adidas 3d code label.. it's exist there..

It's a fake. Even from your first photos I can see the material is sucj poor quality compared to what your shirt is. The embroidery looks very poor quality and details in comparision to your shrit. The placing of the embroidery and sponsor again is all wrong compared to yours. Again the inside shirt colour on your shirt is correct and the while red one is just so wrong. Sorry but someone has sold you a dodgy shirt

for the authenticity, can't determined from that little pic

The shirt was the away kit used from early 2003 until about March 2004 before the Euro 2004 home and away kits were released. It is obviously not 2006-08 as the seller says. I am not convinced from the photos that it is real from just 1 photo but the other shirts the seller has appear to be ok so who knows. More photos would be needed for a real answer
G-Hammer
I have the home shirt from that season, the 3 stars are on the sleeve. Unless it's a player issue one or something, I'm sure it should have a Puma 'authentic replica' black label printed on the bottom, though I could be getting it mixed up with the Monaco shirt from that season.
young dizzle
right well ive been looking for loads of italy shirts from euro 2004 and i noticed some were different to the others, alot of them had a puma badge right underneath the italia sign, and some didnt, does it mean the one wothout the puma badge is fake?

here is the one WITHOUT

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...A:IT&ih=021

so does that mean these are real ones?

1. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...A:IT&ih=003

2. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...A:IT&ih=007

3. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...A:IT&ih=006

also is this one real or fake, it has the puma badge underneath but the italia badge looks smaller then the other ones.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...A:IT&ih=023

and if anyone has this perticular year of shirt would u recommend getting one sizer larger then what u are. because i know italy PUMA shirts are much tighter then the usual other PUMA products.

cheers.
G-Hammer
Even though I own it, I was never a huge fan of the shirt in question so I'm not an authority. I'll tell you what I can though.

Initially I thought that maybe the lack of Puma logo on the front of the first shirt was maybe Italy reverting to their old trademark of having no kit supplier logos on the shirts for the players, but I searched images for Euro 2004 and the Puma logo is definitely their. However, even when real, isn't exactly great quality, especially those Puma logos, which look awfully worn out and about ready to fall off despite the fact its only been worn and washed about 3 times. It's possible that is a real shirt and the logo has come off it.

Treble is probably better equipped to tell you if the others are real, but as for sizing, it really depends on your build. I usually buy XL because I like shirts baggy, but I can wear L, because I'm a bit of a beanpole. My version of this top is L, and it doesn't really seem much tighter than any of my shirts I have in L. If you are quite slim built I'd imagine your normal size would be ok, if your bigger built maybe buying a size up is advisable.

With regards to the one with no Puma it actually looks the bset shirt of the lot, colour and cut wise so it is possible it is real but the Puma logo has fell off or it was a slight second and was never applied in the first place by mistake. The others to be honest you cannot really expect anyone to give a proper answer based on the 1 photo shown for each shirt. Only when you seen neck labels, inner labels and authenticity tags can you be sure what is fake and what ios not fake.
If you want real Euro 2004 home and away shirts then it would be easier just to buy them new and you will know you have a real shirt then that it not full of holes and bobbles.

I've got the shirt, and this particular one seems larger than other Puma shirts of the same size. I have it in medium, and it feels larger on me than my Olympiakos and Lazio shirts, which are both large.

Plastic replica. No club shop really sell the authentic player size Lextra print apart from time to time the Arsenal stores when printin on bigger adult shirts. Most use plastic replica

would the store printing still be good quality and have the same look of the shirts that actually play in the PL?

Theyre exaclty the same material and design but the actual ones the players wear are bigger in size. They are the most official and realistic members of the public can get so theres nothing to worry about. You arent getting second rate printing.

So this SoccerPlus site is legit?
I know treble recommended them, but it just doesn't seem right that they'd still have all those old kits for some reason.

Not really true. The replica printing is plastic and smaller. The players printing is Lextra fetl or flock material. It is personal preference but compared to Lextra players printing I class the plastic replica printig as second rate

I have used it a few times and they do ship to the UK. Shipping is about 25 USD whihc is bout 13 GBP. Not too bad as it is a courier which is generally more expensive. Chris Kay is the company that produced this numering. It means you are getting official numbering

Just because I know the seller is legit. They have the official lextra players EPL numbering and the puma stock will have come from the same official suppliers. A who has legit lextra items is not going to waste their reputation by selling 99% genuine goods and then throw in a couple of fake Italy prints....common sense really mate

Treble, on Soccerplus they have this Bergkamp shirt, and it mentions nothing of Bergkamp in the description and says "ADD ANY PLAYER N&N FOR $17.99." I just wanted to make sure that if I order this, I will be getting it with Bergkamp on the back and not just a plain shirt.

The same case with this Van Nistelrooy shirt, except I'm sure pretty sure it will have a name on the back since it says V. Nistelrooy in the description. I just wanted a confirmation on this one before I spend my money on these shirts.

For the shirt with bergkamp I am pretty sure if you order it you will get a plain shirt, un-numbered. If you check the shop they usually advertise it this way already printed to save too many photos being on the site. For the van Nistelrooy i'd say pretty much the same but you's be better e-mailing the shop and having them confirm this or not. Completely untrustworthy. He might well be really thick and actually think he is selling real shirts which I don't think for a minute he is. If you want me to be brutal then I think that thes seller is just full of crap. Some will tell you what you want to hear and scream that their shirts are real even when presented with blatant facts that they are not genuine. His pictures do not show amny lower hem or sleeve colour trim on the home or away shirts. Take alook at his Barca away shirts, they are appauling fakes.
Another thing you need to realise is that if a seller is genuine then he will more than likely have a different array of sizes like S, M, L. XL or XXL. All he sells are XL - the most common fake size.

Hey, I've got a quick jersey question:

I just received a Puma Poland 2006-2007 home jersey. The material is not like my other jerseys as it is a non-stretch shell material that has the little "rip-stop" squares like a backpack, and on the materials tag it says "shell material." The badge and Puma logos are embroidered too.
I ordered this jersey from a reputable dealer, but is this jersey supposed to be like this?

My brother, on the other hand, has a Puma Poland 2006-2007 home jersey that he bought in Poland that is like the other jerseys I have, stretchy, etc. ALSO interesting is the fact that the national badge is that applied plastic stuff and the Pumas are applied felt.

Anyone got any ideas?

If you are meaning the Adidas AC Milan, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich CL shirts that are released every year licensed by UEFA complete with badges already on the shirt then they are official Lextra patches but instead of being heat pressed on they are machine stiched around the outer edge. The reason for this is so they stay on as it can be difficult to press badges on to raised sleeve stripes without them eventually lifting. Any other shirts should be heat pressed as the badges will have been added after.

Your shirt is authentic as it is what most of the Puma 2006-07 national team shirts were made from apart from a couple of African ones which were lower quality polyester shirts(Togo, Ghana, Egypt and maybe one more). Your brothers shirt is one of two things. It is either completely fake or it is a low quality budget shirt which Puma have made to sell in Poland as they maybe do not think that Polish people will pay the equivalent to 40 GBP for the real shirts and so make a cheap one. I am not sure as I never seen any lower quality shirts available by Puma similar to nike and theri 2nd tier shirts.
G-Hammer
They do, or at least did, exist, I've got an old Czech Republic away one that is 'real' as in it comes from Puma, but its a far cry from anything the players wore on the field.

The simple reason those are cheaper is becuase everyone is a fake. The sellers only offer M and XL whihc is the 2 common fake sizes. They also say they have the 'official UEFA 08 sleeve badge' which isn't correct as the official Lextra patch is not available to the general public. Some of these shirts take 7-10 days for delivery ever though the seller is already in th UK. How is this? Simply because the shirt is being shipped from Asia and not within the UK. Once of the Spain shirts also have white size details printed in the neck when they should be silver. There is every chance the seller will say they are 100% real but if you are being honest you ain't gonna admit to selling fakes and dent your chances of sales aren't you?
If you want a real shirt go to a reputable store

No I can see it is a fake from the fact the badge is out of proportion and the colours and blend of it are wronf. Also the sleeve badge is fake and the size details printed inside the neck should be silver and this shirt is clearly white. That's how I know it is fake
G-Hammer
To be fair, a shirt could be cheaper than it is in shops if it's a b-grade or something. If someone has access to factory seconds they can usually sell them for up to half price and still make a tidy profit (the profit shops make on the shirts is absurd)
