Not in my experience. He maybe is checking to see if he can still get the number set if you asked about that. I've always had a quick reply though

So do you reckon I should email them again?

I don't see anything wrong with it. The T-Mobile sponsors logo is correct for UEFA games wheras in some Bundesliga games they did use T-Com but that was more in 2003-04 as the shirt was used in 2 seasons.

Ebay seller Home of Badges anyone?

He triggers a lot of warning lights (far east location, more Roma tops than the Roma shop) but he's been on ebay a while and has relatively few negative feedbacks (and they are postage complaints).

The worst of it is I'm usually pretty good at spotting fake Roma shirts...apart from those from season 2004-2005 where I didn't get an authentic shirt.

He is ok for the Roma shirts and his badges and shirts are pretty much as safe for a Hong Kong seller as you can get

Not completley convinced about it but I am about 85-90% sure it is genuine. I suspect from it being made in el savador that the shirt if official, has been made for US Nike market hence the different tags and inner labels. I have found from buying some nike shirts from some American online stores that most shirts have a different way of manufacture from a European Nike shirt including different size cut, different inner tags and obviously different neck size printing. The shirt to be honest looks too good quality to be fake, the seems, embroidery etc...

Does anyone remember the eBay seller who has a vast amount of Juventus, Inter, and Parma kits, mostly player issue? I cant find him anymore. Hes was located in Italy. I've searched but I cannot find the post containing his name. Thanks in advance.

His Juve stock was unmatched though

I think this is likely to be the seller you are meaning. He used to be pretty much those 3 clubs but now his range is more diverse

Looks ok from the photo but would need more photos to be sure. If the shirt has a name and number on the back then he should be showing a photo of it so you can see if it is official numbering or not or if there are any errors with it. The sie is M which is inconclusive as M and XL are the 2 most notable fake sizes. You would need to ask him for better photos including inner labels etc..

The vodafone logo is not or if the shirt is genuine should not be cut out in the middle part on this white shirt. The vodafone logo should be 1 piece of plastic material including the white middle part.

I have looked at the shirt and it seems ok. The seller has some other shirts and a couple of them are fake but I am pretty sure this one is ok.

No there never was an authentic one
G-Hammer
I remember during qualifying for a previous tournament Italy, then made by Kappa, wore a black shirt against Iceland, and the top was later used as a GK shirt, but I've never seen nor heard of a black Puma one, they wouldn't have needed it during the qualifying campaign, and they certainly never wore it in Germany.

On a side note, while looking through my collection a strange anomaly caught my attention:

The former is a shirt I bought from a respectable sports shop in Italy around the time of the 2002 World Cup. The other I got from a less reputable source in the UK a year or so later. Now, the fact that they have identical templates, and the only different is silver/blue colour of the second, I would have assumed it was fake. The thing is, I've looked around the Internet and found a lot of pictures, including ones that claim to be player shirts, that have the silver/blue section in the middle as opposed to the solid blue. Does anyone know the story behind these 2 alternate versions of the same top?

It wasn't actually Kappa, it was Puma from the WC2006 qualifying from the 2004-05 template. The shirt was actually a one-off shirt made up for one match. Although there was a black keepers shirt used for 2004-05 the shirt used by Italy against Iceland was a slightly different template. The keepers shirt also had a centrally placed Italian badge and the shirt for the Iceland game was on the right chest

[attachment=26247:51188424.jpg]

For the Japan shirt there is 2 versions of the shirt and both are authentic. The one with the royal blue centre is the standard replica and the one with the silver thread woven through the front was a later produced version which was to make it appear more like the players shirt. This was the WC2002 shirts and the players were dual layered versions with the inner layer being white and this was done to try and replicate this. To be honest it has kinda made it look cheap looking and the original royal blue shirt is still the best.
Subside still have both versions available and from theri photos you can see the diffference

Re: Italy

Ahh, I just remember seeing a black Kappa Italy shirt that was used as a keepers and just assumed it was that, it actually looks more like a Kappa shirt than a Puma one.

Thanks for clearing up the Japan thing. I agree though, the all blue one looks a lot better. Not to mention white numbers would just have looked daft on the silver one.

There was a black Kappa keepers shirt that was worn in Japan/Korea and that was the exact same template and style as the home and away player shirts of the sametime

hey guys, having a hard time believing this one.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...A:IT&ih=017

the shorts came in yesterday and my 8 year old cousin couldn't fit in them. he swears they are a men's large and authentic, but i've never seen adidas shorts without an actual adidas tag inside. they also fit like boxer briefs and i was told that's the true "soccer size" fit these days. i've been playing soccer long enough, and certainly watching it long enough, to know if that's the case, then the entire galaxy team wears these shorts in an XXL and becks wears a triple X. your thoughts...

Thats what you get for buying beckham gear. laugh.gif Nah, are they rea? If they arent that could be a problem.

I found an aussie seller on ebay who seems to have a good rep and a real gerrard 8 name/no. set. Case closed. Sort of.

just wondering because on the back of my long sleeved 4* italy shirt it has two tags on either side saying "in collaboration with neil barrett" and "federazione italiana giuoco calcio"
G-Hammer
I have both long and short sleeved 3 star tops, they both have the same black tag things on the back. Shirt is prob fake.
Spotswood217
Hah, in my opinion, don't even bother with the shirt. The collar is the dumbest thing every put on a football shirt.

Hi guys i was just wondering if you could give any advice in if this jersey is fake or not

Here is the link http://www.ioffer.com/i/38259086?store=1

Spotswood217
I'm gonna go with fake. He only has sizes M and XL, which are pretty much the only fake sizes, and he's charging WAY too little for it to be genuine. Also, the proportions of the shirt are all wrong, with the badge and printing way too big for the shirt itself.
AllYouCanEatPandaLegs
thank you
AllYouCanEatPandaLegs
Looks fake but ill give it a try what do you think?

That site has given many members quite a few problems. Also, they do fake printing according to many on here.

well my 8 year old cousin DID end up fitting in those men's large shorts, so I guess that answered my question about it's authenticity. oh well. not too upset for 15 bucks. made for a great gift lol.

Player issues have Formotion instead of Climacool. Looks genuine by the way, Lextra printing, special anti-rub badge stitching, Size S, etc.

they are completely out of stock, on all kits, all sizes. pretty poor for a club of this size, even if it is clearance sale. dry.gif
