Since Im trying to go back and get some shirts from the early 2000s and 1990s, Im gonna need a timeline of which seasons each EPL font was used for. Could you list it out or is there somewhere i can read up on it?
Oh, and I stumbled on this site, is it legit?
http://www.efn.com.au/template7.asp?Catego...sideParent=1334The style used for the yellow shirt was used for all shirts from August 1997 until May 2007. Since August 2007 the new style was used. Previously from 1997 each club used their own style usually with the shirt manufacturer logo in the numbering.
The site you listed is genuine. It is the official supplier in Australia for official names and numbers like Sporting-ID is in the UK. You wouldn't be able to order from them though as they only sell to shops as they are a wholesale company. If you contact one of the companies they supply you would get on better

So, here's something thats been bothering me for years now. I bought this Italy top, as worn in the 1998 World Cup, around the time. I bought it for a fairly reputable source, as in one that wasn't known for selling fakes, and this was 1998/99 before fake shirts got good. Yet, it always bothered me because there are clear differences to the one a friend of mine had at the time.

The obvious difference is the badge, it should have the Italian Federation's full name and not the abbreviation, the badge on my friend's was also like a solid patch stitched on, as opposed to everything individually. Mine is also of a much...rougher material than the one he had, and the collar is much firmer in terms of shape. It is a size M, and quite a big one, but all the tags are well made and all fit the other Nike shirts I own from 1998-99.
Ordinarily I would have just thrown it aside as fake, but the age really makes me wonder, is this some kind of minor variant or 'replica'? Or is it just one of the first decent fake shirts ever?
The way the badge is embroidered and to be honest it is quite poorly done it seems leads me to beleive it is fake. They have never used that badge on that shirt for certain so Nike would never have released them. What you have described about it also leads me to think that it is not authentic. Fakes have been out since the 90's it's just that they have with the accesability of the internet and things like ebay growing they have been more noticeable. I do really believe the shirt is a fake and the reality is alot of people own shirts like this and don't even know they are fakes because they didn't really know they existed back then if it wasn't bought from a reputable store.
