If you really, really want Ba 34 so bad you could buy multiple namesets to get the necessary characters/numbers. Would be very expensive though.

How do people get their hands on player issued stuff?

QUOTE(BakEd @ Jul 5 2008, 05:13 AM) *

Well it is a real Adidas shirt. However as it is size Small which is not Torres size so it clearly not a player worn or kitroom prepared shirt. I believe that I HK and Korea you can buy carlsberg player size sponsors and alot of sellers are buying unsponsored formotion player shirts which are easy to find on ebay and then adding sponsors onto them. I believe this is what that shirt is

I'm not convinced by the placing of the print inside the neck or the sitching. Looking at his other shirts ther are a couple of fakes there and no where also does he say they are official shirts

All the shirts are fine although the printing on the last one maybe fake as he says it isa really thick plastic and I had that shirts and it shouldn't be thick if official.
If you keep looking on ebay alot of HK sellers have France shirts from big tournaments so if you keep looking one wil probably turn up soon.
The Arsenal shirt should be quite easy to find on ebay as well

bad news, all the new nike and adidas shirts are out in stores already here in adelaide but from observations, nike have stopped using the black nike tag! now its just a washing tag which means it will be more difficult to spot fakes >_>. they are player replicas too.

I've bought 5 jerseys off ebay, only 1 of the 5 is obviously fake, the others are passable as real. All 5 are from Asia, I can't really complain considering with shipping to the US they were all about $30-$35 each.

I bought it as a birthday present for my little brother, before I give it to him I need to know if it's real or not. I'll get some pictures in when I get home. I think it arrived in the post today.

Looking at the one photo he has it looks ok. Judging by his feedback and other things he has sold and the varied sizes including shorts I think the shirt is authentic but if you can take some photos of tags, inner code labels and close up of embroidery etc.. it will help to confirm this.

that one is a player issue jersey.. it should be original from the looks of it. but absolutely not match worn..

for the lettering, of course.. you can still find it from the shop/store/ebay

as for the patches, might be difficult to find the normal patch (used in 2003-2004 season) but might be able to get the 2003-2004 champion patch..

I can't get the lettering anymore as the suppliers do not hold old stock. It is just what you can find left on ebay now.
Soccer authentics which someone has listed as the lertters and numbers is probably your best bet. They ahve the badges as well and are cheaper than the onionbag who are 10USD for just one badge

So, here's something thats been bothering me for years now. I bought this Italy top, as worn in the 1998 World Cup, around the time. I bought it for a fairly reputable source, as in one that wasn't known for selling fakes, and this was 1998/99 before fake shirts got good. Yet, it always bothered me because there are clear differences to the one a friend of mine had at the time.

The obvious difference is the badge, it should have the Italian Federation's full name and not the abbreviation, the badge on my friend's was also like a solid patch stitched on, as opposed to everything individually. Mine is also of a much...rougher material than the one he had, and the collar is much firmer in terms of shape. It is a size M, and quite a big one, but all the tags are well made and all fit the other Nike shirts I own from 1998-99.

Ordinarily I would have just thrown it aside as fake, but the age really makes me wonder, is this some kind of minor variant or 'replica'? Or is it just one of the first decent fake shirts ever?

Since Im trying to go back and get some shirts from the early 2000s and 1990s, Im gonna need a timeline of which seasons each EPL font was used for. Could you list it out or is there somewhere i can read up on it?

Oh, and I stumbled on this site, is it legit? http://www.efn.com.au/template7.asp?Catego...sideParent=1334

The style used for the yellow shirt was used for all shirts from August 1997 until May 2007. Since August 2007 the new style was used. Previously from 1997 each club used their own style usually with the shirt manufacturer logo in the numbering.
The site you listed is genuine. It is the official supplier in Australia for official names and numbers like Sporting-ID is in the UK. You wouldn't be able to order from them though as they only sell to shops as they are a wholesale company. If you contact one of the companies they supply you would get on better

The way the badge is embroidered and to be honest it is quite poorly done it seems leads me to beleive it is fake. They have never used that badge on that shirt for certain so Nike would never have released them. What you have described about it also leads me to think that it is not authentic. Fakes have been out since the 90's it's just that they have with the accesability of the internet and things like ebay growing they have been more noticeable. I do really believe the shirt is a fake and the reality is alot of people own shirts like this and don't even know they are fakes because they didn't really know they existed back then if it wasn't bought from a reputable store.

Hi to everybody!

I would like to buy Arsenal third away long sleeve jersey 07-08 large size and I am searching every link that I find by google. But in nearly every shopping site it is written "sold out" or have small or XXLarge sizes that doesn't suit me.

I found one with short sleeve.
http://www.uksoccershop.com/products/8294.html

Then I found this site and it is written that they are selling both jersey ans shirt at a very good price.
Their address: Dareup Office 8955A Bankmore St. Belfast Antrim United kingdom
http://www.dareup.com/goods-207-Arsenal+3r...-08+Jersey.html

This one is also seems trustable. But short sleeve again.
http://www.jdsports.co.uk/product.aspx?id=17803

The first website looks more trustable but expensive. The second one has a great price offer but have question marks. What do you think of these sites? Has anybody heard dareup.com before?
