Hi guys

what about mmsports.com and soccerscene.co.uk sites?

Trustable sites? and anyone know if they have the official printings?

Thanks...

Hi to everybody!

I would like to buy Arsenal third away long sleeve jersey 07-08 large size and I am searching every link that I find by google. But in nearly every shopping site it is written "sold out" or have small or XXLarge sizes that doesn't suit me.

I found one with short sleeve.
http://www.uksoccershop.com/products/8294.html

Then I found this site and it is written that they are selling both jersey ans shirt at a very good price.
Their address: Dareup Office 8955A Bankmore St. Belfast Antrim United kingdom
http://www.dareup.com/goods-207-Arsenal+3r...-08+Jersey.html

This one is also seems trustable. But short sleeve again.
http://www.jdsports.co.uk/product.aspx?id=17803

The first website looks more trustable but expensive. The second one has a great price offer but have question marks. What do you think of these sites? Has anybody heard dareup.com before?

UKSoccershop should be ok if its just the shirt you want, though don't go near them if you want a name printed on it. I've never heard of dareup so I'll leave that to someone who has, and JD Sports is legit, its a high street 'sports' shop in the UK.

The style used for the yellow shirt was used for all shirts from August 1997 until May 2007. Since August 2007 the new style was used. Previously from 1997 each club used their own style usually with the shirt manufacturer logo in the numbering.
The site you listed is genuine. It is the official supplier in Australia for official names and numbers like Sporting-ID is in the UK. You wouldn't be able to order from them though as they only sell to shops as they are a wholesale company. If you contact one of the companies they supply you would get on better
The way the badge is embroidered and to be honest it is quite poorly done it seems leads me to beleive it is fake. They have never used that badge on that shirt for certain so Nike would never have released them. What you have described about it also leads me to think that it is not authentic. Fakes have been out since the 90's it's just that they have with the accesability of the internet and things like ebay growing they have been more noticeable. I do really believe the shirt is a fake and the reality is alot of people own shirts like this and don't even know they are fakes because they didn't really know they existed back then if it wasn't bought from a reputable store.

To be honest I suspected as much, its just the age of it that threw me a bit, its leagues better quality than the fakes you would see in Spanish or Italian shops at the time. I never thought of that though, that far east fakes have always been of a higher standard and its just we never seen them as much. The shop I bought it from was mainly based on imports of b-grade shirts, so its possible they themselves didn't even know it was fake. Thanks for the help though.

JD Sports seems good with a fair price but they inform me that they only send products to an address in UK, no international service. I should search for more about dareup because their price for both jersey and shorts makes me think twice. Also it does not matter if a number or name is written on back side. I just want to find one that will suits me.

I believe the shirt is probably authentic but the numberset is not authentic..

For the sleeve badges there was embroidered type used from 1992-1995 and then from 1995-1997 a Lextra type with no TM above the lion. From 1997-2003 they used the same design but with the TM added above the lion. For 2003-04 only there was a Barclaycard sponsored patch and then back to Barclays for 2004-2007. The current patches will be used until 2011

Yes both are trustworthy. Both use official prints but for FAPL styles they wil be plastic replica type and not Lextra type I believe

the arsenal one is hard to tell, but it does have a screen printed badge which is what they have on code 7's. not sure about the printing and stuff, but i'd ask for more closer pics from the seller.

This is what I found about dareup on the web. People say keep away from them.

"Got 2 shirts delivered from dareup.com yesterday. They're definitely fakes! Ordered size L and both were XL - but they were too small?!

Delivered from Shanghai! Company website has an address in Ireland and it takes that the market value of the kits is £60. So very misleading!

No telephone number on website and only way to contact them is via email. I'm currently waiting for a reply to my email to find out where to return the goods to. As the website states that you can return the goods within 14 days for a refund. They'll probably reply in 14 days time then if at all.

Got a reply from dareup.com regarding sending my order back. They said they want 95GPB for shipping handling fees!!! My order cost £50 (including £10 for P&P)! What a cheek!"

The Arsenal one is, the Flamengo I have no idea but it looks pretty cheap looking. The bottom labels on the shirt look a bit suspect and follow no nike pattern. Could just be how it has been manufactured by Nike South America or it could simply be a fake.
Patches yopu can get from Soccer Authentics on ebay or Subside Sports have alot as well.

Thought it looked quite a suspect site and gave little information aboutthe company itself.

Just got the Arsenal 2002-2004 home jersey that I got off eBay in the mail today. I think it looks pretty good, but I took some pics for you guys to verify this.

General view of the shirt.

Detail of the Arsenal badge.

Detail of the size information.

Detail of the inside tags.

Detail of the security tag. It definitely says "SECURITY" on the silver thread, but you can't really make it out in the photo.

The shirt is a sort of dual-layer on the bottom, on the sides and back.

Detail of the material used for the body of the shirt versus that of the ventilation parts (on the right), which is much rougher.

Detail of the "2" in the sponsor "O2."

Detail of the ventilation in the underarms and the sleeve material, which is the same as the body except white.

Comparison of the shirt's badge (center) versus an 03/04 away (L) and an 04/05 home.

Thanks in advance!

Correct, basic polyester jerseys with basic collars etc.. sometime look hardly like the real shirt and more like a training shirt. Teams and countries that Nike have released them for over the last few years are Valencia, Barca, Croatia, Russia and probably some more in the actual sports stores in the countries but those are ones i have seen online

So I've been checking this thread for quite a while now and I have a couple of questions:

1) How come Soccerplus have so many shirts and sizes on stock?
2) What is "wrong" with this shirt that is so cheap? It looks pretty good but it must be something about it.

That Inter Away is fake. Inter was founded on the 9th of March 1908 not the 8th of March 1908 and there is three r's in nerazzurro.

^^^Well, judging by the Holland shirt with only 2 stripes on the sleeve whistling.gif ...^^^

Anyway, has anyone bought an Adidas Retro jersey? If so, if I wear a Medium in most Nike shirts, what should I get in Adidas? I'm kind of wanting a snugger fit than my Nike shirts(like my Holland Away, etc. which are a little loose), too(not skin tight though haha) I'm looking into getting this one...

http://www.soccerplus.net/productinfo.php?id=2586

I'm honestly leaning toward getting a Small, but I don't want it to get here and be too short in length and have a Kappa-like fit. I just want a confirmation that that won't happen basically lol.

Buy your normal size as retro shirts are usually smaller.

So a medium will fit a bit tighter than a Nike shirt, you think? To be honest, I haven't bought any Adidas shirts in the Past 4-5 years lol.

Boston? How many sexy local hot Chelsea fangirls could you possibly have there? It's Massachusetts, not Fulham.

And thanks xinzhi, I think it was a pretty good deal myself. I recommend the seller, utpanic. He's always got some good Gooners stuff up, though most of it is XL. I got lucky with that M.

I wouldn't think they wear any quicker as they are made by Nike so should be well made. They just use less detail and basic materials.
