I'm kinda undecided with the photos as none of them are really close up but I would go on the side of fake just now as usually fully sponsored shirts are actual player shirts or fake as usually you cannot buy all the add on sponsors. If it is an ebay link can you provide the seller link and I mkight be able to give a better answer
acman
looks a bit suspicious..

CMIIW Umbro usually put the tag on the collar, not on the sleeve like Adidas/Nike

van Purseij
It's a fake.

The seller is from Thailand, only M and XL jerseys available, and with a low starting price.
untill the end
are these fake too, the seller actually sell them kind of expensive.

the number definitely fake one..

compare with this one..

so i think the jersey is fake as well..

You can't really find one currently on ebay. They were mainly available in Hong Kong and were normally between £30-35 each though. The only seller that had them recently was in Argentina and they wanted about £120 each. If you want one then Subside has them available for £10 but you have to buy a shrit from them and have it printed on the shirt. Not sure if they are the Lextra version though as I haven't bought one from them with a badge on it.
Subside has the lextra patch.

I just got this arsenal jersey in the mail, is it authentic?

some notes. this is actually my first jersey i got assuming that it's authentic. I'm not impressed with it at all. the shirt doesn't stretch well due to the stitching at the bottom hem. i think this is weird because my club jersey stretches a lot. the material is also too unfabric-like to the skin imo, but I don't know much.

thanks
thomas999
Is this jersey an authentic replica? I got it from the seller personally.
The labels were on the inside, near the bottom of the jersey. I compared with the labels on a jersey in a shop and they looked the same.
Let me know if you need more photos to verify. Thanks!

Fake 2 layer numbering again. The key thing to look for is the silver edge being thicker in some parts than others from where the black top layer has been added
untill the end
so whats the best online store to buy jerseys from i just think $80 -100 is way too much for a jersey, when a good fake is the same exept for the matching numbers.

Well either you can pay the price as that is what all reputable stores charge that for current season shirts or you can wait until the end of season sales when kits are reduced because they are getting replaced. There really isn't such a thing as a 'good fake' as it maybe looks ok to compare side by side when new but the stiching will be poor, embroidery poor and the printing, sponsor etc is likely to crack and peel. The bottom line is you get when you pay for.

Just wondering, is it possible to get a Bergkamp '98 jersey anywhere besides eBay?
EDIT: If I order one from UK Soccershop will I receive an authentic Nike jersey in a timely fashion? I'm personally not too concerned with the numbers as no one I know will be able to tell anyway(as long as they're not crooked).

Also, could anyone tell me if there is any big size difference between '98 jerseys and '08 Nike jerseys?

Just avoid Uksoccershop as you might never get it. Order the numbering I dispalyed in the above like for 15 GBP and order the shirt from kitb ag just now with a 20% discount for just 24 GBP thumbsup.gif

http://www.kitbag.com/stores/kitbag_4_5/fo....aspx?pid=47104

They have the away too for the same price. I got the away and added the printing. Check it out in my recent additions in the jersey collection thread

Be very careful as the St Etienne shop in madeinsport.com and they run the official stores for PSG, St Etienne and Marseille. I ordered a Marseille shirt from them once with printing and it was official but the printing was crooked. Then I ordered a PSG away shirt in about 2004 and got a plain un-official print with no French league logo. I complained and got nowhere and they took no responsibility for it.
Ty_
So would the sizing in those 98 jerseys be a little big? Like to the point where I would need to order a size down from my regular size in Nike shirts?

Probably as they are meant to be worn with a baggy fit and not close fit as the 08 versions. I guess it is personal perference. If you like the close fit then go donw a size probably. You will need to be quick as 20% discount ends tomorrow i think

Would it be the same with a 2000 Netherlands shirt?

does the name & number velvet (felt) or plastic ? if velvet then it should be original..

perhaps you can show the pic of the inner label ? i believe PUMA Should come with a small label with some hologram in it

I wish I was an expert! unsure.gif

But the 2 main reasons why I am pretty sure it's a fake:

The size on the neck tag doesn't match that of the hanging tag, something that I have seen on fakes. Also, that jersey is made in Thailand while all the official Puma replicas I have seen are made in Turkey.

Imo, the lion makes the printing look fake. Not sure about the shirt though

I have my offical home shirt on now, and the pixels are abit different on that, the one there looks more like the player shirt ( most offical) wheras mines a match replica.

The shirt is a very clear fake. Apart from the error with country of origin the size details in the neck should be printed in navy on the neck and not red as red has never been used by Puma due to the Arsenal colour like. It has always been navy and I am surprised that fakers are still producing shirts with red size details. Tags also say L and neck says M...The lower back panel is cut far too low and should be higher and there should not be a black silver logo on the back hem of any Spurs home shirt, either replica or player version. The printing could be plastic or felt as the club store will use plastic replica printing and some stores like Subside supply the players felt printing. However from the close up of the lion it look slike it is a complete fake lion print.

Yes very likely.

I have this shirt and that is a terrible effort. The printing inside the neck is wrong, the sleeve badge in the wrong type for nike shirts from 2007 onward and the Nike swoosh is miles off... The stiching around the neck looks too tigh and it pulls the material of the shirt in and that is the obvious sign of a fake as the stiching is usually a give away. A genuine nike shirt would never make it into the marketplace with poor stiching like this

I've never heard of MM Sports but Subside/Kitbag/OnionBag are out of stock (of M) or they don't have this season's version. Also, I haven't been able to find a real one on eBay

EDIT: MM Sports don't accept PayPal...do you think I should just buy it from a local store or wait around?
