I just thought you all might like to see this.

Its the review Database, which currently doesn't have even one solitary review for the Tunits. I know quite a few of you have them and it would be very appreciated if you could write a review. Even when there are reviews, it would still be brilliant of you could write more - no two opinions are the same. If you don't know where to start, I've attached a sample review of what it should look like ( I used Ejtek's example) and a template to help you get started. Its not much to ask - it only takes a few minutes, and the more people do it, the more everyone gets out of it You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours etc...
If you want to do reviews of your other boots, that too would be fantastic. If you don't like them, use this as a chance to tell people why not and if you do like them, use it as a chance to say why you do!

(Oh, and serious brownie points are on offer )

Yeah, I know there are pictures there, but these ones show off the nation-specific parts better IMO - ie the bit on the heel counter and the design at the back, while still allowing us to see the general design of the boot.

i ownder how many of the country designs they intend to sell. a lot of them look the similar (aus, brasil, ghana, etc.) idk i oculdnt see myslef owning any of them excpet for the U.S. one (it would be wierd supporting another country in the world cup i think). Also i doubt all the players that wear tunits will wear their country in the world cup (excpet maybe the finals).

Its in normal, leather and ClimaWarm as far as I know. Its for when its really cold and snowing etc so it keeps you feet at a normal temperature instead of your toes falling off!

climawarm in britain in october is gonna sell like hot cakes! regardless of whether they work, methinks marketing will be big!

The thing with tunits, is that adidas has created a shoe which they can market forever. Everytime they release a new color way its practically a new shoe. All they have to do is keep the system, get rid of some "bugs" with the tunits and boom, they have a shoe that could last as long as the copas. imo great idea by adidas.

yeah thats pretty genius. i want to get some now, but if another color comes out that i like better ill be pissed. some many to chose from

me too, some colours look quite nice but every time a new colour comes out i like it better than the old ones.

I think Adidas should make the uppers less expensive, then people could "pick and mix" there boots more, because paying £70 just for a different coloured upper is abit stupid, you could buy a completely new boot for that.


Also, i was having a look at the booklet that came with my F50+ and saw that in that they refer to the insole as a chassis and the actual boot as an upper. Some of you probably knew this already but its interesting because changing uppers and chassis isn't a completely new idea from Adidas it was used on both pprevious f50 models but not marketed as well.

I'll be wearing my tunits for the first time in a match today... i hope i'll score 2 goals;)

theyre on the heavier side for boots nowadays, so i was wondering if anybody felt any difference or slower when wearing them.

So i got from my girlfriend at christmas tme the white and gold absolutes. She got me those knowing i always wore predators from manias to pulses and before that I wore copas and the champions league precisions. Any way I play in the San francisco soccer league. I am a forward and i thought the absolutes were great. I wnet to may local soccer shop and they felt great. Usually i like them feeling snug and the abs felt loose. I wore them and they were horrible. Too wide and i was getting blisters. i was about to buy vapor iii (a gamble since I never wear Nike) when i saw the Tunits and I tried them on, it was love at first sight. I bought the blue ones and I would mess around with the hg studs since i play on an astro turf field at times. They are snug and they formed to my foot so i am hapoy. My only problem, and it may have been my fault, was the inserts got stripped on some spots so i had to get new ones and new studs. I like how you cannot fell the studs pushing through th insert and for a synthetic it is alright. Another problem is that they are too sticky and i have made mistakes passing at times because it sticks. But on a bright note i scored my first goal of the season, we started in april and have played four games, and i can take free kicks easily like i could with my pulses
Overall I give them a 9.5/10 and only because of the stickiness
p.s. anyone pissed besides me that Morientes was dropped my spain? I mean 27 goals in 42 games, a little better return then Torres and Raul

Slightly off-topic but he has been awful for Liverpool. I know Raul hasn't exactly been great but his last few games have been excellent, despite not scoring.

hey guys i just need a yes or no answer, i got a sneaking suspicion its gona be yes but .............. i got red and white F50+'s now and they are getting holes in em and im sick of my feet getting wet, should i get tunits or wait till after world cup its only the 3rd game of the season this weekend but its a big one, so should i do the mid week buy ? or just wear the buckets? btw wat color? im afraid of getting any of em coz they are all too showey and since i bought red vapors 2 seasons ago i dont wanna cop shit again - thanks

wore my fierce red tunits for the first time this weekend and scored 3 goals (1 breakaway, 1 volley, 1, 20 yard shot) in two games, and in my opinion there a great boot, i took a freekick though and they went a little squirrley on that but otherwise they were great.

btw did anybody get the eurosport today with the world cup uppers in it, there also on soccer.com now so in response to previous questions, yes they did come out with all 32 teams, and yes many are very similar.

i also noticed there only $10 more than the original uppers.

they look great to me, when i get payed thursday i will be preordering some argentinias and germanys and maybe some usa depending on how big the check is

there will be f10 and f30 tunits of germany and brasil aswell ... maybe of other big countrys aswell ... that will be sweet:

PS: those aswell could be fake cause on press.adidas.com it says that there only will be the uppers avaliable ... so they wont come in a pack with studs and chassis ... but there stands nothing with f10 and f30 versions ... well we will see

i am a bit annoyed by the toe box of the tunits does anyone else feel the same...if anyone has the f30 tunits do the boots have the same toe box.

The toe box on the F30 doesn't protrude as much as on the F50. You should be able to get a good idea of the shapes by comparing the pictures on Soccer.com

Has anyone heard anything else bout the Orange Tunits?
