Hi! Just wanna ur guys ideas of how to handle this girls Football team. Its look easy to teach them however, its not easy what it seem.. one thing, they were sensitive.. and eventually can manage to follow what been taught eventhough its a basic one... Actually, i'm not a professional coach. I'm just a player that love playing panna and football freestyler and that makes them to pick me to couched them.. I've already thought them slowly from the basic stamina, response, ball control, agility, dribbling but yet still haven't got the success... doh.gif

Yeah girls are a lot herser to coach. Just try to get through to them. And if they don't want to learn they don't want to play that bad. If all else fails smack em in the head. Just joking.

When I read the title about "couching" the girls, I had a completely different idea in mind laugh.gif

Just try to establish a tactic, positioning, and hope they do it. Yelling at them would not be a suggested course of action. How old are they btw?

hi mate, i understand i went through the same! are the girls actually playing matches against other teams? if so you need to sit the whole team down and show them where each player plays on the pitch. I split the pitch into zones and then show that a centre defender must stay in the two or three zones i mark out!
When coaching girls u have to start at the very basics! First show then how to kick a ball properly. Just get them to kick the ball into an open goal form 6 yards using the side of the foot then the instep. Then build it up to a further distance and more power. The problem with girls footy is that they cant kick the ball! try it and see how it goes!

teach them technique and practice above everything

don't shout at them

if they do a good job and nice firm slap on the arse is a good way of showing they've done well

well, first thing u gotta teach them is how to be comfortable with the balls smile.gif.

you got to make it fun... none of that plain boring stuff, they will get distracted and start gossiping! make it as interesting as you can, and variey what you do each training session. once they learn how to control the ball you will see how qucik they pick stuff up!!!!! if they lose the 1st couple of games it doesnt matter. it makes them more hungry to win!!! we lost the 1st couple of games and we made it to the grand final in our 1st season! just be prepared for mood swings tongue.gif
