Hey guys, I tryed out for ODP last october and got as far as the Regional camp and then got cut. I want to know what are your thoughts on the program and if you have evere tried out.

Personally i think the whole thing is bogus, but alot of players that i know have come up through the system and gone far. The system of selection has a lot of loop holes in it. For instance its very hard to get noticed by of the evaluators if you dont dribble around with you head cut off and do like 5 step overs.

I made the team by playing simple and doing a little skill here-and-there but there was so much kids trying out that i thought none of the evaluators was watching.

Some things i noticed at regional camp

• The food is horrible
• There were alot of kids there that didnt belong
• The Coaches payed little attention or so it seemed
• if you dont have blistering pace and look like a man child you wont make it
