So I haven't played since highschool, basically took 5 years off while in college and now I am starting again. Since I have been out of it for a while I really dont know much about the current boots but have done a bit of research. I would love to get the predator absolutes but am not looking to spend that much $$$. I would like to stay with nike or adidas...looking at the nike tiempo mystic ($40) predator pulsion 2 dragons ($55)... would these be good? any suggestions? thanks in advance

A good idea if you don't want to spend too much money but want a quality boot, is to look for a boot that used to be a top of the line boot. By now they will probably be on sale even though they may be a great boot. An example of this is the total 90 2's or 3's. Another are the origional tiempos.

I went and tried on some botts at my local scooser store and the 11.5 in the adidas was perfect but a bit tight in the nike, still good tho, I will def. take the advice and look for some of last years boots from nike/adidas

yea I hear ya, for right now I am looking to spend under $50... Basically I will just be using these as practice boots, i am really leaning towards the predator pulsion 2, I got a pretty good deal on the blue ones for $40, does that sound like a good deal? I know they are not K leather but like I said I would be using for mainly practice or should I go with the mystics for the same price
