Is there anyone with more infos of what's going on in BVB camp this summer, because their official web site is very modest with informations? Does someone know where to find more infos of this great club? I know that Koller went to Monaco and Rosicky to Lyon and in the other direction Valdez from Werder and Pienaar from Ajax

yes of course, my mistake

Here is a German link where you can find a list of

http://www.freenet.de/freenet/sport/fussba...mund/index.html
new signings (Zugänge)
players who leave the club (Abgänge)
players who probably join the club (mögliche Zugänge)
players who probably leave the club (mögliche Abgänge)

I wouldn't say that it's the best of sources though as I can't see spurs trying to sign Buckley&Degen, but it's better than nothing anyway.

hehe dortmund are dropping 2nd division..i mean wat da hell can they do without koller and rosicky !
and by the way bayern's opening bundesliga fixture is up against dortmund...
energy41
They can do a lot without Rosicky and Koller as they build up a new, young team.
Apart from that Koller missed most of last season, they won't miss him too much compared to last season, and Rosicky wasn't outstanding at all to be fair in the last 3 seasons or so.
Dortmund might not challenge the european competition spots yet I suppose, but there are easily at least 6 teams who are weaker than Dortmund.

Meanwhile, they signed the Swiss striker Alex Frei (Stade Rennes).

Frei, Valdez, Smolarek aren't the worst attack you can have, things even look pretty good for Dortmund IMO.

i agree with you. i also believe that Sahin will build on last season and improve his performences, with Pienaar in the midfield, who has a lot of experience despite his relatively young age and Kringe who show some very good displays in the second part of the season.

Exactly mate, they have a good, young and promising squad together in general.

In attack they now Frei, Valdez, Smolarek, Odonkor and Buckley challenging for 3 spots.
In midfield Kehl, Kringe, Sahin, Kruska, Pienaar make the future look bright as they were all born in the 1980s. Dortmund are also in rumors to sign Tinga (a Brazilian midfielder I believe) who is young as well.

Dortmund have good options next season, they probably might lack depth though.

When did Pienaar sign ? He's defiantly one for the future!

He signed by the end of January mate.

The thing with Dortmund is, that they have the players, but struggle to get them to play like a team. Still i think Dortmund will do well next season.
dk.
Thought I would revive the Dormtund thread, I am interested on what people make of them and their seasons aspirations. Well, to start with, the 06/07 Borussia Dortmund squad:

Goalkeepers
Meier
Pirson
Weidenfeller

Defenders
Amedick
Brzenska
Dedé
P.Degen
Hillenbrand
Hünemeier
Metzelder
Vrzogic
Wörns

Midfielders
Kehl
Kringe
Kruska
Pienaar
Ricken
Şahin
Tinga
Tyrala

Strikers
Amachaibou
M.Amoah
Frei
Saka
Smolarek
Valdez

It has been a pretty decent start for Dortmund, esp. when you consider the losses of Rosicky, Kollar and Odonkor (coupled the financial situation of the club), but never the less van Marwijk has amassed a fine group of players for the season, with perhaps a UEFA cup spot and going 1 place further than last season 7th place a realistic aim for the season. Their looking healthy at 7th place in the table after the early stages of the campaigne, and, well, bring on VfL Bochum!

Pos. Team--------------------------------W----D----L----For----Against----Points
1 SV Werder Bremen----------------4----1 ----2----18----9--------------13
2 FC Bayern München---------------4----1-----2----11-----7-------------13

4 Alemannia Aachen-----------------4----0----3----13----10--------------12
5 Borussia Mönchengladbach-------4-----0----3----9-----9----------------12
6 FC Nürnberg------------------------2----5----0----8------4---------------11
7 Borussia Dortmund-------------3----2----2----10-----9-----------11
8 VfB Stuttgart------------------------3----2----2----13----13--------------11
energy41
I believe Dortmund will finish somewhere between 5th and 8th place, can't see them finish weaker since they are easily better than half teams in this league.

Frei and Valdez should make a good combo in attack once they really got into that combination, Smolarek isn't a bad striker either.
The squad is young, lot of potential there, lack some squad depth probably.

The new signings Tinga and Pienaar aren't the quality additions yet IMO, but time will tell.
Dortmund is certainly a team to watch out for in the future thumbsup.gif .

I've have always had a slight edging towards Dortmund. I've always especially admired the Sudtribune and despite the massive financial troubles at the club, the fanbase remains.

The side is currently in midtable this season, but with a bit of luck might just reach Europe. On their day they can be brilliant such as beating Bochum 6-1, but can also be terrible, so mid-table has pretty much suited them.

Looks like a good match tonight, hope they win!

Tonight should be a good test before the real start on the weekend, they badly need to get a result at Duisburg to avoid that they drop down deep in the table perhaps.
The weekend after Dortmund face their main rivals Schalke, that should be sweet. smile.gif

Borussia Dortmund progressed to the quarter-finals of the DFB Pokal, after seeing off Werder Bremen 2-1 in an all-Bundesliga clash at the Westfalen Stadium.

Giovanni Federico gave the home side the lead after 19 minutes and the tie looked safe when Diego Klimowicz netted a second 10 minutes from time.

Diego brought Bremen back into the game two minutes later from the penalty spot and had the chance to level matters with another spot-kick on 85 minutes.

This time, however, Dortmund goalkeeper Marc Ziegler guessed right and saved the Brazilian's effort to ensure the Westphalians went through.

Superb win for BVB
Cuore
I watched the game, a superb save from Dortmund´s keeper, he almost saved Diego´s first penalty too. If you ask me the Referee was doing his best to give Bremen help as the second penalty was absolutely inexistent, Rosenberg literally charged himself at the goalkeeper!

I was very impressed with the quality of German Football, I really enjoyed watching it.

DORTMUND EURO HOPES DENTED

Two-goal Klimowicz celebrates

Borussia Dortmund slipped further away from a UEFA Cup qualification spot as they needed a last-minute equaliser in a 3-3 draw against bottom side Duisburg.

Sven Beuckert in the Duisburg goal fumbled an Antonio Rukavina cross, which offered Dortmund striker Diego Klimowicz an easy goal to claim a point for his side with the last attack of the game.

Iulian Filipescu had earlier given the hosts the lead on 17 minutes before Tobias Willi doubled the advantage on the half-hour.

Sebastian Kehl pulled one back after 50 minutes but Mihai Tararache made it 3-1 with a 58th minute penalty.

Diego Klimovicz then scored his first on 68 minutes, before Beuckert's mistake gifted Dortmund an equaliser.

Dortmund have slipped behind Wolfsburg to 11th in the Bundesliga with 22 points, whereas Duisburg are now only one point behind Cottbus and Nurnberg at the foot of the table with 14 points.

Dortmund's first chance fell on 16 minutes, when striker Mladen Petric dribbled the ball into the left side of the penalty area, but his shot from 15 yards went well wide.

They were immediately punished as a pass from the right channel by new signing Claudio Niculescu was met by Filipescu in the centre of the penalty area, who slotted the ball home into the bottom left of the goal from 10 yards.

A second cross from Niculescu on the right created Duisburg's second goal, Willi shooting into the centre of the goal from eight yards.

Duisburg then wasted two good chances to take a three-nil lead from a half they dominated.

Filipescu's shot from 10 yards went wide and Klemen Lavric's shot from the right-side of the six-yard area was saved by Marc Ziegler.

Kehl converted a Dede cross with his lower back to halve the gap but Tararache's penalty sent Ziegler the wrong way, after Dede had brought down Ivica Grlic with a tackle from behind in the penalty area.

Dortmund looked a different team after their coach Thomas Doll made a double change. One of those substitutes Klimowicz beat his marker at the edge of the area to connect with a Alexander Frei cross, the ball hitting his upper body and going into the bottom right of the goal just three minutes after his introduction.

In injury time Rukavina crossed from the right hand side, and Beuckert's fumble allowed Klimowicz in for a one-yard tap-in.

Well before the game a point would have a poor result but considering they were 2-0 done at half-time and 3-1 down in the second half, a point is a good result. Klimowicz was excellent coming off the bench to score twice.

Dortmund made a good start and Petric almost scored, but the defending for both goals were terrible. Fair play to the guys though, it was an excellent response, the Kehl goal was a bit fortunate, he didn't know too much about it. The Dede penalty was a little iffy, but they put immense pressure on the Duisburg goal and deserved a point in the end.

Highlights can be seen here

Thomas Doll's reaction:
QUOTE
“I think it was an entertaining game for the spectators, but not so much for the two trainers” admitted Dortmund boss Thomas Doll.

“We slept a bit in the first half and were not really in the game.

“But then we believed right up to the end that the game could be turned around.

“It was all a bit ‘all or nothing’ and eventually we were rewarded. That was important for our morale” he added.
In other news, BVB have been given a nice draw in the quarter-finals in the German Cup, where they will face 1899 Hoffenheim, a second division side. The tie takes place on the 26th or 27th of February.
VillaMad
Kick off is just an hour in the 131st Revier Derby.

Pre-Match Comments:
Ten points and seven places separate the two clubs. BVB is twelfth, Schalke fifth. Borussia has gathered 14 of its 22 points (63 percent) at home although they went behind in two matches. BVB did not lose any of their last four home matches in the first half of the season, securing two victories and two draws. No team has done as well as Schalke away from home. They have only lost once, in Cottbus. However, they have also only won two of their last eight away matches.

Team News:
Robert Kovac, who came through a long appearance for Croatia on Wednesday, and Dede are questionable. Kovac is still a bit ill and Dede suffered a thigh strain during the Duisburg match. Definitely out are Weidenfeller, Degen and Kuba. Schalke´s goalkeeper Neuer is over his knee bruise in time for the Revier Derby. Defensive chief Krstajic was only able to complete individual training sessions because of slight flu bug. Schalke must play without Kuranyi (yellow card suspension), Pander (knee problems), Bajramovic (toe inflammation), Grossmüller (red card suspension) and Abel (still rehabilitating after a torn ACL).

Tactics:
BVB will take the field in the usual 4-4-2 with a midfield diamond. Schalke varies between the 4-3-3 and 4-4-2 systems. Three attackers could be utilized to give the offensively strong Dortmund outside defenders direct opposition.

Spectators:
Signal Iduna Park is sold out. Every one of the 80,708 places will be filled.

Referee:
For the ninth time, Bremen´s Peter Gagelmann will call a BVB match. His last one was the 0-4 loss in Wolfsburg on match day 17. BVB´s overall record under Gagelmann´s supervision is a bit negative with three victories, four losses and one draw.

The match starts at 16:00 GMT. COME ON BVB!!!!

SIGNAL IDUNA PARK - 10.2.2008 - 16:00GMT

STARTING XI

ZIEGLER (BADE 46)

RUKAVINA - AMERDICK - KOVAC - DEDE

KEHL - KRINGE (BUCKLEY 71) - TINGA

FEDERICO

KLIMOWICZ (FREI 17) - PETRIC

SUBSTITUTES NOT USED: VALDEZ, KRUSKA, HUMMELS, WORNS

FIRST HALF
01' - The Derby is underway. Come on Dortmund!!
05' - First chance falls for Asamoah, he comes in from the right, but pulls the shot wide.
10' - Both teams are going for every ball, but chances are at a premium so far.
12' - Ziegler saves from Rakitic, before Kobiashvili finds Asamoah who finishes it albeit offside.
15' - Its all Schalke at the moment, Altintop has a header saved by Ziegler. Poor defending by Dortmund, they need to get back in this game.
16' - yellow.gif for Bordon of Schalke
17' substs.gif Frei on for Klimowicz. Huge shame for Diego, took a knock early on. Big chance for the Swiss man now to make an impact.
18' - GOAL 0-1 Disastrous for Dortmund! Altintop closes down Amerdick, and the ball breaks through to Asamoah who runs around Ziegler and slips the ball home. It was poor by Amerdick and Ziegler but the goal had been coming.
21' - GOALLLLLLLLL!!!!! 1-1 Superb response!! Federico is the man, finishing after Rafinha had blocked his pass to Frei and it came back to him.
25' - Westermann hits the side netting after a Rakitic corner.
30' - Kringe blasts the ball over on the edge of the penalty area. Pity.
31' GOAL 1-2 Oh dear! Schalke are back in front, Rakitic's free-kick is inadvertently put into his own net by Amerdick.
37' - yellow.gif for Kehl
38' - A shot from Kringe causes Schalke little worry
40' - Ziegler goes down after clashing with Petric. He needs some treatment.
43' - Kobiashvilli almost breaks through but Ziegler lets it go wide.
45' - Ziegler is in pain, looks like he will be replaced at half-time. Would be a body blow to lose two players to injuries already.
45' - Half-time. Disappointing performance by Dortmund, Schalke have had the better chances and deservedly lead.

SECOND HALF
46' - substs.gif There is the change. Bade comes on for his debut in place of the stricken Ziegler.
48' - yellow.gif for Jones of Schalke
50' - GOALLLLL!!!!!! 2-2!!! Dortmund are back level! Tinga started the move, freed Frei on the left who crossed for Petric who made no mistake. Glorious goal! This is better BVB!!! The stadium goes crazy with that goal.
53' - Oooh, Federico almost in, but Neuer just gets there before him.
58' - Rakitic has a free from 25 meters, but its well over.
60' - yellow.gif for Frei
62' - Rakitic with another free, which is comfortably gathered by Bade.
66' - Ernst chests the ball down and blasts at goal, but Bade is equal to the shot. Crucial period of the game now.
69' - substs.gif Change for Schalke, Sanchez on for Altintop
71' - substs.gif Buckley on for Kringe
74' - Schalke are upping the pressure here. They force another corner, and Dortmund's backs are against the wall at the moment.
76' - red.gif for Dede!! Straight red, for a foul on Rakitic. It was a poor challenge, but its debatable whether it was a straight red. This is terrible for BVB, they were already under big pressure with 11 men, now they have 15 minutes left with 10.
77' - substs.gif Streit is on for the dangerman Rakitic
78' - yellow.gif for Schalke goalie sub Schober, for coming onto the pitch
79' - Dirty elbow by Rafinha. The crowd are baying for blood.
82' - GOAL 2-3 FUCK!! Superb move by Schalke, with Asamoah setting up Ernst who drives it home. Hard to see BVB come back for the third time now. Shit.
85' - substs.gif Final change for Schalke, Larsen for Asamoah, who has been in fairness excellent today.
88' - Free-kick for Dortmund, decent chance......Frei hits and comfortably saved by Neuer.
90' - Schalke have the chance to seal it on the counter-attack but Jones is denied by Bade. Time almost up now and Schalke are heading for the derby win.
90+3' - There it is game over.

Well a terrific derby, but another disappointing result for BVB, losing to their deadly rivals. Schalke was always the better side, but to their credit Dortmund hit back when needed, but the red card changed the game. Ernst scored just minutes later, and there was no come-back from that.

Those six goals have been pretty poor goals to concede also. What Amerdick was up to on Sunday isn't worth knowing. Should be a good game though against your guys.

Also in the aftermath of Sunday's game, Dede has been handed a four-match ban, which I think is harsh.

At the moment Klimowicz is 50-50 for the game next week, while Ziegler will see a specialist on Tuesday, to see the extent of the injury he suffered.
VillaMad
Ahead of the game on Saturday against Cottbus, some team news:

After the red card for left defender Dede and his subsequent four-match ban, possible back-up Florian Kringe is now doubtful for the match against Cottbus. The "allrounder" is currently suffering from an intestinal virus. The right defensive position is also questionable with Toni Rukavina suffering from the flu and Philipp Degen not even back in team practice after a long injury break.

The injury to Marc Ziegler isn't as bad as first feared and he hopes to play at the weekend.
energy41
So Dede is out, which is alright, not the biggest loss to Dortmund.
Kringe, Ziegler and Klimowicz (what's the score on him?) would be bigger misses IMO.
Ziegler is quiet a talisman for the BVB whereas Kringe and Klimowicz scored the goals against us in the meeting earlier this season which Dortmund won 3-0.

Dede has been poor since the winter break, so its not the biggest loss as you have said.

Well it has been confirmed that Rukavina hasn't travelled due to tonsillitis. Kringe has travelled and trained on Thursday and should be ok for the game tomorrow and play in Dede's position.

Ziegler trained on parts of Thursday and should be ok, around 75%-25% that he will play. Klimowicz had an injection today and is named in the squad, but they are awaiting to see if he has a reaction to it before deciding whether to play him.

Good luck energy41 ahead of the game, hopefully its a good one thumbsup.gif

Considering they scraped their way to a draw with Duisberg two weeks ago, Dortmund seem to be struggling, and Thomas Doll doesn't sound happy anytime you read some quotes.

Yeah they are at the moment a real mid-table side, a long way away from what they used to be. The financial situation obviously had something to do with that and for the foreseeable future it looks like it will continue to be somewhat of a struggle for Borussia.

I would say that, they would have potential to be a bit higher in the table, but they also have been unlucky with injuries. But yep they arent currently as big as a some years ago.
King Lane
I'm surprised Thomas Doll is still at BVB, he was sacked this time last year when he was at Hamburg when they were in the relegation area and look how well they did in the final part of the season, even getting a European place. One more bad result today at Cottbus and it could the end of his managerial time at Dortmund.

ENERGIE COTTBUS 0-2 BORUSSIA DORTMUND

Stadium of Friendship - 16.2.2008 - 14:30GMT

STARTING XI

ZIEGLER

HUMMELS - AMERDICK - KOVAC (WORNS 46) - KRINGE

KEHL - TINGA - BUCKLEY

FEDERICO (KRUSKA 75)

FREI - PETRIC

SUBSTITUTES: BADE, VALDEZ, BRZENSKA, NOTHE, HILDEBARND

FIRST HALF
01'- And we are off today in the Stadium of Friendship, Dortmund at the moment sit in 13th, 6 points ahead of the relegation zone. Energie are at the moment in the relegation zone, 2 points from safety. 3 changes for Dortmund. Hummels, Buckley and Frei for Dede, Rukavina and Klimowicz. We expect a few goals today.
05'- Fairly quiet start. An early free from Skela and a corner from Frei brought no danger to either teams defences.
08' - GGOAALLLLLLLLLLLL!! 0-1 And there is the first goal of the game, it Petric!!! A long ball out of defence found Petric who in turn feeds Petric who smacks the ball home from 15 meters. Excellent start from BVB.
12' - Sorensen crosses over to Angelov who hits it over Ziegler's goal.
15' - Skela tries a free kick from outside the box, but the angle is too wide, and the ball flashes wide.
18'- Energie putting most of the pressure on, and Dortmund haven't really done anything apart from the goal.
23' - A strike from distance from that man Skela also goes wide. He hasn't had much luck so far today and Ziegler has yet to be called to make a save.
28' - The game has been a real tactical battle so far, plenty of huff and puff from both teams, but the score remains 1-0 and that goal was indeed the only shot on target so far.
35' - Still scrappy and its no surprise that these clubs are in the position they are. Kicker hasn't had anything to update on in the last while.
45' - And there is half-time and I have honestly had nothing to talk about in the last 20 something minutes. Good start to the game, but its being fairly poor since then. Energie have had no real ideas in how to break down the Dortmund defence of whom Thomas Doll has obviously been concentrating on the defence as they look to improve on the 6 goals they have conceded in the last 2 games.

SECOND HALF
46' - substs.gif Worns for Kovac who must have picked up an injury before half-time.
54' - Better from Energie as Skela has a strike which Ziegler is well able to hold onto.
59' - substs.gif for Cottbus, Jelic on for Basila
63' - Mitreski picks the ball up after a Skela corner and shoots from 25 meters, but its over Ziegler's bar.
64' - Skela's corner reaches Jelic at the near-post, but his header comes off the bar and into the crowd. Dortmund are hanging on at the moment and its all Energie.
68' - yellow.gif for Kehl
69' - Angelov has a chance for Cottbus and his volley is just over from 18 meters.
71' - Super pin-point cross by Jelic picks out Rost who header whistles past the post.
74' - substs.gif Vasiljevic for danger man Skela for Energie
75' - substs.gif Kruska comes on for the final 15 minutes for Federico as BVB look to seal these vital 3 points.
81' - substs.gif The Cypriot Aloneftis comes on for Sorensen. 10 minutes to go, can Energie Cottbus conjur up a goal, which could go a long way in their survival bid this season.
85'- GOOAALLLLLLL!!!!!! 0-2 A second goal for Petric. A slip by Tremmler in the Energie goal leaves an empty goal for Petric to head into and the smash and grab mission by Dortmund is all but complete. Excellent 3 points!
90' - Game over, and 3 really important points for Dortmund. Shame on Energie who provided much of the attacking play in the game, but Petric took his two goals well and hopefully this result will spur Dortmund back up the table

Good luck energy41 ahead of the game, hopefully its a good one thumbsup.gif

Cheers and congrats mate. thumbsup.gif

It wasn't a good game. To be completely honest it was a shite game, regardless of our defeat.
It was just as always when Dortmund come here. Fifth time they have played in Cottbus, 5th time they have won (15-3 in total).
Dortmund was the smarter and more effective team. They scored with their few opportunities and had a relaxed day out there because we were awful. Energie hardly ever tested Dortmund's back four and nobody knows why. It's not like Hummels, Kovac, Amedick and Buckley are a dream back four.
Plus, this is the fourth game in a row that a Dortmund player has scored twice against us (Brzenska, Frei, Klimowicz and now Petric... get lost).

Cracking 1-0 by Petric by the way. thumbsup.gif
Him and Kringe were Dortmund's best players today IMO.

So, how is Hummels doing so far? I know its too soon but how many games has he played and how? smile.gif
energy41
He had his first Bundesliga start ever yesterday and he did alright at right back.
It's not he's been troubled much but he didn't do any major mistake, plus Dortmund kept a clean sheet so this doesn't speak against him either.

Nice game report there. thumbsup.gif

I have to add that Energie made life easy for Dortmund yesterday so it was actually the perfect opportunity for Hummels to get into the Bundesliga mood.
Even if he was their worst player yesterday, he still would have would been our best player so this sums up the toughness Dortmund had to cope with yesterday.

Yes indeed Dortmund should be able to win today. You seriously have to beat such sides like Rostock at home if you have any ambition.

Team news ahead of the game:
Weidenfeller, Kuba and the suspended Dede are the only ones missing today. Klimowicz is apparently back available and Rukavina has recovered from a virus and should start instead of Hummels. Other than that it should be the same team that started at Cottbus.

vs

BORUSSIA DORTMUND 1-0 HANSA ROSTOCK

SIGNAL IDUNA PARK - 23.2.2008 - 14:30GMT

STARTING XI

ZIEGLER

RUKAVINA - AMEDICK - KOVAC - BUCKLEY

KRINGE (KLIMOWICZ 58) - KRUSKA - TINGA

FEDERICO (HUMMELS 72)

FREI (VALDEZ 83) - PETRIC

SUBSTITUTES NOT USED: DEGEN, BRZENSKA, WORNS, BADE

FIRST HALF
00' - A good match in store today at the Signal Iduna Park, where Dortmund in 13th face Rostock in 14th. Rostock come off this game after a narrow win over Eintracht Frankfurt last weekend. One surprise in the Dortmund line-up. There is no Sebastien Kehl, so Buckley comes in at left-back presumably with Kringe moving into the centre of midfield. As expected Rukavina is back for his league home debut in place of Hummels.
03' - Rukavina sends in a dangerous cross and the keeper Wachter and Lukimya crash into each other in the process of clearing it. Both need some treatment after that.
08' - First big chance in the game and BVB have it. Frei finds Petric who volleys close to the corner flag. Good chance!
15' - Good start from Dortmund so far, by far the more active team, but have made a few mistakes when they have closed in on Rostock's defence.
23' - First chance for Rostock. Yelen drives in a corner which Bulow is able to win his header, but it easily misses the goal. Dortmund look to have lost their early momentum.
27' - The game has gone of the boil since really. More corners than shots so far.
32' - Decent change for Dortmund. Rukavina again causes trouble down the right, and sends in a ball of which Petric is almost on the end of, but it breaks to Federico who can't quite get a shot at goal.
33' - yellow.gif for Kovac.
34' - yellow.gif for Rahn of Rostock.
37'- Good chance for Frei there. Orestes misjudged a cross from Kringe, and Frei wasn't able to take advantage. Dortmund have been the better so far, but Wachter hasn't had too much to do.
41'- Stein tries a shot from distance, but there is no danger for Ziegler.
45' - Half time and a frustrating performance by Dortmund so far. They can do so much better.

SECOND HALF
50' - The second half is well underway, but still no sign of the all important first goal.
52' - Frei has a free-kick from 17 meters and hits it straight into the wall. Kruska drives the resultant rebound over the crossbar.
53' - substs.gif Bartels on for Yelen for Hansa.
55' - Apart from a Bulow header, Dortmund have been in total command so far and possibly need to make a change soon as they can't quite grab that first goal.
57' - Rostock have a chance on the counter-attack. Rahn crosses over and Kern wins the header but its goes over.
59' - substs.gif There is the change and its a striker on for a midfielder. Klimowicz, the 2 goal hero from Duisburg on for Kringe. Good positive change by Doll.
60'- yellow.gif for Klimowicz. That's some introduction.
63' - Tinga chests it down for Federico whose shot doesn't threaten the Rostock goal.
66' - yellow.gif for Shapourzadeh
68' - GOALL, GOALL, GOALLLLLL!!!!! 1-0!! Finally the breakthrough and its the substitute Klimowicz. The goal though belonged to Rukavina, whose menacing cross leaves Klimowicz only having to tap the ball home. Finally!
72' - substs.gif Hummels is coming on for Federico. This is probably to re-address the balance. A defender on for a midfielder.
73' - Good counter by BVB with Tinga coming forward. He gets taken down and from the free, Frei just misses the target.
75' - Another counter by BVB, and Frei goes through, but he gets muscled off the ball.
76' - yellow.gif for Kern of Hansa Rostock.
80' - substs.gif Dorn on for Bulow.
81' - Great opportunity spurned by Dortmund. Frei breaks through down the right and attempts to square it to Klimowicz who would have had a simple finish, but plays it behind him and the chance is gone. Hopefully they won't regret it.
83' - substs.gif It was Frei last touch. Valdez is on.
85' - Rahn pumps a ball into the box, which Zielger fists away. Hansa going all out for a point now.
88' - Now its Valdez chances to mess up. Rukavina the supplier but Valdez misses. Great game today by the Serb.
90' - Full time

Well a tough win, but fully deserved. Dortmund deserved more today, but for some poor finishing, it could have been 2 or 3. It took them ages to break them down, but when they finally did, the game was in the bag. Good performance and 2 straight wins, is excellent work from Dortmund.
