I bought the chrome vapors, (the best shoe ive ever worn, its like a sock with cleats) i was wondering if theres anything that you should put on them before the game or after the game, any type of liquid or anything if anyone knows tell me. And where can i get it from.

Thanks alot
Mike_7
i think u should just use hot water....maybe soap or something cuz ther not leather so i dont think it will damage

First of all what purpose are you looking for? If you are getting blisters you can put vaseline on your feet then put on socks, or wear 2 pairs of socks to minimize friction. It sounds like you have a really nice fit so you probably wont need it. If you are talking about boot protection, a friend of mine told me his boot cleaner taught him to rub a little vaseline over the cleat and it will keep it shiny and easy to clean. Personaly I use this liquid shoe polish that is neutral in color and designed specifically for shoes.

Do you mean for protecting the boot? They are sythetic so they withstand the elements preety well. They are also simple to clean, just use some lukewarm water and wipe them with a towel.

Also, anyone know how to get off black skuff marks, like after you get cleated???

if your talking about blisters n stuff i use to get blisters on the back of my ankle from them so watch out for that...

i got wide feet is vapor II good for me...

When I first got vapors I had pain in my heel and the side of my feet... and then i got blisters. So I'm going to say that if you can handle three weeks of uncomfortable playing once you've worn them in they are supreme. Light, qreat touch, awesome grip everthing you could want in a boot... but since you say you have wide feet perhaps this isn't the best option for you.

People say that Vapors are for narrow feet, so I don't know. You should try them on and see.
Sky
I have wide-ish, short feet, and 42.5 is a good fit for me but the toebox is a little snug (probably need a week or two to break in). So I wear 43's and there's a little extra space for me to put on a compression bandage I use to protect myself. And some tape too if I need. Wide feet are OK if you really insist on Nike.

well i have seriouslly slim feet and i have a friend who has the blue and chili red ones, so he let me try them on for a while, and i found that after he has been using them for a month or so, it sorta like shaped into his feet, so to me all boots are like that, after a few kicks in them they will mould into the shape of your foot.

i really fall in love with vapors.. before i used adidas f50 which i hate it soo much... i wear nike AZT II 90... it's good for my feet but i still it too loose for me and i tried the vapors one the fisrt color came out the blackish blue...which is good but at that time i think it's too small for me... so is vapor are the best suited boots for my situation or not....???
Luca10
Ya I guess. When I tried on AZT 90 II, they were a bit too loose, and the Vapors fit me great. I think Nike made it so that if AZT is too loose, you can fit into Vapors.
Sony-Fan
yeah like a for wide feet range and for slim feet range

the shop I go to frequently called Evangelista Sports (www.evangelistasports.com) has had so many problems with Mercurial Vapors because so many customers where returning them because they were getting hurt and fucking up their feet real bad in 'em.

So many problems that they actually stopped selling them. Strange cuz they haven't had any problems with the Talaria's.

thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif If u actually check out the site u'll see that they're still in stock, but they're real slow when it comes to updating their site

I am interested in vapors but i am wondering wot the difference in vapr 1 and vapor 2 is? And also my friend bought some older ones and wore them a couple of times, and he kept getting blisters so he sold them. If i buy them should i let them break in or not buy them cause my feet may b 2 wide?
