In Germany we have a band called Sportfreunde Stiller who made their WC song "'54, '74, '90, 2006" in which they sing that Germany will win the WC 2006.
Now after Germany are out of the WC, the band simply have a new version of it, I just heard it on the radio today.
It's called "'54, '74, '90, 2010".

Well, this band knows how to keep the fans in their good WC atmosphere, pretty intersting stuff.

Who do you want to win the tournament? Germany
Make that Portugal now.

How is the WC atmosphere in your country/town? Very good, alot of pubs and big tv screens at the malls. But too crowded, I watched it at home.

Same here mate, I also prefer to watch matches on TV in a pretty quiet and relaxed atmosphere at home.
It's nothing compared to going into a ground anyway, where you simply drive nuts whenever you like to do so

Well I was in Dortmund for the Sweden V Trinidad Tobago Match..... Big Disappointment as it ended 0-0 but atmosphere was amazing
In Hamburg for Equadore V Costa Rica.... Great game 3-0 and the stadium rocked
München for the Brazil V Australia game........ Stadium and game was unreal, pitty the ref was blind
And Stuttgart for Australia V Croatia.... This game was the highlight of the trip. So full of ups and downs, great game (also helped to be returning to my Church - Gottlieb Diamler Stadion)
But like I said I have been seeing a lot of Germany in the mean time and you guys really have a fantastic country.
No worries.... wasn't foolish enough to think I came close enough. Congrats Energy, Hope I can come closer this year.
Now the formalities are over
Germany going out like that........
I'm more gutted that Germany are out then I am that Australia went out to a stupid ref decision
It's a sad night indeed

Cheers mate
It must have been a great trip for you

. Even you live in Australia you have been to way more Bundesliga grounds than me as even 4 are still more than my 1 and only Bundesliga ground so far.

Just a suggestion, why not call this place 'The SP Oktoberfest'.

(I worked hard on this one, don't laugh at me

)
I quiet like the idea, it fits nicely into the German area of SP, so why not?
If the majority is up for it, then we'll make it "The SP Oktoberfest".
Cheers for that suggestion mate.
General information I will be away to Turkey for holidays from friday, the 7th of July until friday, the 21st of July.
Just to let you all know, so don't wonder when you don't see me online in this time.
