anyone know of anywhere for women to play football in liverpool or london? I've just got back into playing so aint ready to try out for any proper clubs I dont think, but would like to start playing games again or training or having a kick around with peeps, so any info would be useful. I used to play on boys teams til I was 14 then just games in the park with friends pretty much.

They are some excellent websites. Footiechick in particular is extremely usefu as a resource and carries the exact message to the fans and players that should be carried, "Onward and Upward!". There should be no negativity in sport, but sadly there is. Certainly in the UK, sport is abused massively. If run properly, people could see the benefits and see the difference that support makes, and footiechicks is an organisation I admire.

I play in a London league, even though my team aint from London, there are loada teams in London, would be easier to get hold of the clubs and ask if they need more players
Peace
Footie Chick is brilliant. They regularly organise women's tournaments, especially around the north west. They recently had a brilliant turn out in Liverpool.
