Well i expect Chivas to have a lot of young player stepping it up again, and going far in the league. I also expect San Luis to Descend to the Primera A.

i expect rayados to reach final or semis at least
we have a new squad up front but we made need more time to gel

Hopefully Cruz Azuel can win the Apertura. They have such good players and they always have good chance of winning the season.

I think that the teams to watch are Tigres, Cruz Azul, Pachuca, America and Toluca.

All of these teams have great opportunities.

Cruz Azul- always has a kick ass team but always get eliminated in Quarter-finals! Its in their head!

Tigres- Has a great coach & with the new transfers they have a great shot at the title.

Toluca- They play ugly........but they win. With the addition of Carlos Maria Morales & Bruno Marioni I think they will have a more lethal attack with Esquivel and Vicente Sanchez already there.

America- All I need to say is this, Blanco, Piojo, Vouso, Cabanas........Cuevas was transferred to PSV in Holland.
Now that America has one more spot for a foreigner it looks like they're going to get a big time defender.

Pachuca- with the addition of Damian Alvarez (a pretty good replacement to Richard Nunez) the team looks very solid as they did last season and won the title, I expect a similar season for them.

Not to mention that Tigres has the coach who just recently gave Pachuca their championship & with the $ Tigres has to get better players than Pachuca that should automatically make them contenders.

Miguel Herrera is from the "Escuela Lavolpista" and everybody knows these type of coaches manage to give a very attractive offensive style of play! But its never more than that, they never get championships.

I don't know if you read the initial post but it was about what was expected from teams. The question was not "What team will win the championship" but if you want to play that game lets do it!

This a far simpler bet: I bet you that Toluca goes further than Monterrey in the Championship.

If Rayados go further in the season then I will abandon the forum for a month, if Toluca goes further you will abandon the forum for a month! Well I guess you don't have to pick Rayados so pick the team of your choice!

If by some freak of nature happens and they both don't qualify then the team with the most points wins; in the far less likely event that they tie in points we'll go to Goal differential!

Well I want Querétaro to do well. Thats what my dad is from. I also want San Luis to do good, my mothers side. It's all family based for me.

I liked Pachuca but Cuevas left, he was my favorite players. Cant believe he only played once in WC btw, and the one time he did, he scored a wonderful goal.

As for a personal favorite, I am starting to like the way Tigres looks, Jaime Lozano!

No-one is wrong, its an opinion. As far as Cabrito is concerned I feel he is a little old & is no longer that Cabrito who played in France 98 or the last Copa America. As far as Luis Perez is concerned, I think he can be be one of Mexico's best mid-fielders "if" he stops taking dives and does what he knows best....and that's to play soccer. I think he should have a long chat with Garcia Aspe so he can be taught what it means to play with with courage and with huevos.

Tapatio would be playing Toluca during Jornada 1 del Futbol Mexicano. This due to Toluca not accepting to re-schedule the Match for some other time. Chivas would be playing FC Barcelona while Tapatio would be Chivas first Division team for this Jornada.

That will be so funny if Tapitos beat Toluca.
