Francesco Totti has finally squashed all rumours about a possible departure from Roma when he informed Roma's Sports Director, Franco Baldini that he will remain giallorosso for life.
A very pleased Baldini informed the journalists that even though he had yet to bring all the players that Totti had requested, the Roma captain pledged his future with the club.
"I want to thank Francesco Totti," said the Sports Director, "Who, before leaving for the holidays, has re-confirmed his will to stay in Rome....forever. And he did so in a moment in which I have not fulfilled all of which we spoke about."

Yeah, that's true. He is so good, that he took Italia to the final as he even expressed it before the EURO started. I really liked that guy before, but after what he did.........

Boooooooooooo! If Real and others are not so good to get him can u imagine Roma? He wont get a title. Hehe, simple as. Maybe you meant to say Real and others are not so good to get him because those clubs don't want SPITTERS?

Hehe.

Well if you say Real and others are too good for him, then you are pretty much telling me that he can't even compete. So how can he get masters Zizou spot? Hehe. Totti can only take Zidane's spot in SPITTING that is. LMAO...lol

Naw seriously now, good luck to Totti in Roma. He lost a lot of RESPECT this year. He must be going through a hard time. No one can deny he is among the best players in the world but why the hell did he spit the guy? And what's worst, kept tackling the players a lot. That's not the Totti I know. Maybe he was huhmm I don't know, can't think.....lol
Perhaps he can't take Zidane's spot if and only if you put Zidane at top level, but he can take any MIDs spot, that's asured. That guy is too full of talent. But like I said, he needs to CALM that attitude down. I believe you gotta kick Cassano's ass for making Totti a bad boy. LMAO...lol

Anyways...I think banning Totti was even good...cause Cassano showed hes skills to the world...
If Totti would have played...then there would have been no chance for Cassano...
And this spitting dont make Totti a bad player...it makes him a bad spitter...lol

Why would we get a violent person?
JJ, of course he hasn't lost his touch, but you have to realize a lot of people HATE him now. That only puts his status even more down. If Real Madrid really wanted him, they would have done the impossible to get him. But it turns out Totti is not even in the plans for this season when he was supposed to before the EURO incident.

Francesco Totti is expected to tie the knot with his girlfriend, tv personality Ilary Blasi, however before that, a 'Tottino' might be on the way for the celebrity couple.
Currently, the Roma number 10 is enjoying his last days of holidays with Ilary as soon he will have to join his team-mates for the pre-season training. All seems to indicate that Francesco and his girlfriend will soon get married and rumour has it that a newborn is on his way to help Totti forget the disappointments of the past Euro 2004 campaign.
Well...in 2024 we can see Francesco Totti jr. wearing no. 10 shirt and captain's armband in AS Roma...

It's not as simple as that. He let down his country. He made an irresponsible decision.
Italy's hopes were resting on Totti's shoulders, because he is such a leader and a great player. When your country is depending on you and you throw it away by spitting on someone(which is, BTW, the lowest thing you can do to another player), that is a stupid decision.
There is no good reason to spit on another person, period.

I disagree.. I agree Totti is the BEST player, but Del Piero, Cassano, Cannavaro, Vieri, Corradi, Nesta, are also good.. So lets say Totti go injuried.. then its his fault still? Like.. A team has to know that they need to play good no matter what.. Because the case is usually that they don't have ALL their team mates.. I personally don't blame him...

The Azzurri and the media tend to point fingers a little too much....our team blames different players for failures...until they come together (get over themselves) and play football......1982 wont happen for a long time!!!

I see your point, but it wouldn't have been his fault had he been injured. What he did was on the other end of the spectrum.
But Rosso is right, the Italians point fingers too much. The rest of their players are either good or competent, so it's not just Totti's fault.
