Bojinov joins JuventusJuventus have officially signed Fiorentina striker Valeri Bojinov in exchange for Adrian Mutu, although it is only a loan deal for the moment.
Talk of a swop had been in the air for some time, but the moves were completed this evening, announced the Stadio Artemio Franchi side.
Former Chelsea forward Mutu has been bought in a permanent switch, while Bojinov joins Juventus on loan with an option to buy 50 per cent of his contract at the end of the season.
Bulgarian hitman Bojinov was signed from Lecce in January 2005, but failed to make his mark at the club with just eight Serie A goals in 36 appearances.
He first shot to fame at Lecce, where he became the youngest ever Serie A player, making his debut at the age of 15 in a 3-1 defeat to Brescia on January 27, 2002.

Confident player going to Juventus right now, if i was being chased by Juve i'd wait until after the sage.
But still great signing by them.

Very very strange decision by Bojinov. Why would anyone move there with all the shit going on there

Well... Congarts to my fellow Bulgarian. I don't understand the move at all... I mean it IS juventus, but what happens if they get relegated to Seria C1... or w/e they will be put?

Its only a loan and Bojinov was not happy at Fiorentina because he wasnt playing enough, and he is only young. Juve are expected to go str8 back up to Serie A, so in the end it could be a good move for him.

Yeah, maybe he is planning to prove his worth to a team that is in need of solid performers at a lower pay and still have years left in them. If he shows his loyalty and worth now and Juve make it back into top form, then he'll be sitting pretty high. Just my thoughts though.

Bojinov has massive potential and is still very young. I think it's a good gamble on his part. If Juve come straight back up (likely on the strenght of his performances) than he will be a bianconeri hero for years to come. If Juve flounder, he will still be young enough to resurrect his career elsewhere.

I think that if Juve get relegated to Seria C, the transfer won't happen.. this is something like a clause in his contract.

Bojinov: "This is the most important club in the world"
Valeri Bojinov spoke of his hopes for a big future with the Old Lady at this afternoon’s press conference: “Juventus belongs at the top and I will do everything in my power to see the team challenging for trophies again, in Italy and in Europe. Football is not an individual sport, it’s the team that’s always the winner. We have a great group of players here and we expect to win. The situation we’re in is by no means perfect but you can’t always have it all your own way. We’re all hoping the penalty will be reduced but make no mistake, we are prepared and, if we have to play in Serie B, we will do all we can to gain promotion as quickly as we can”. The young Bulgarian striker then spoke of what it means to him to play for the bianconeri: “As soon as I heard they wanted me I said yes; Juve is Juve. It’s an honour to wear this jersey and I will give my all for the club. I’m very happy to play for Juventus but I realise that if I’m to be successful here I need to play well; there’s still a lot for me to learn, I need to keep improving if I want a place in the team”.
Bojinov also revealed his admiration for Alessandro Del Piero: “I’m very excited about playing with Del Piero, he’s a true champion. He gives his all for the side and always comes up with the goods when his team needs him most. I know I can learn a lot from him as a player and a person, he’s a phenomenon, truly world-class”. For Valeri the recipe for success is simple: “We need to concentrate, use our heads and play to our strengths”. And helping him along the way will be new head coach Didier Deschamps: “He’s told us what he requires of his players - hard work, concentration and a professional approach both on and off the pitch. He told us to honour the jersey with results. As a player he never stopped running for his team and he has asked for the same work ethic from us”. And what does the Bulgarian youngster make of his hosts? “The Italian people have always made me feel at home, in Lecce, in Florence, everywhere. This is the greatest footballing nation in the world and I’d like to thank the people for making me feel like one of the family. I know that I have to play well and behave well to win over the fans but that’s exactly why I’m here and I hope my performances will demonstrate that”. And that goal in training? “I’m happy I scored, it was a good goal, but it means nothing”. He ended the conference on a similarly pragmatic note: “I could talk to you all day but it would mean nothing. It’s what you do on the pitch that counts: actions speak louder than words”.
Good luck to my countryman ...

Sad day indeed. I honestly do not care about Emerson and Thuram, then never played with their heart for juve. However, I am very very sad about Zambrotta and Canna... They were great leaders and had a great understanding on the pitch... To bad now they will be rivals, I would have liked to see them together in Barcelona.

When asked by a World Cup reporter for his opinion on the news concerning Juventus, Thuram is rumored to have responded: "Who are they?"
He's a good player--but good riddance. Zambrotta's decision saddens me, though; he should have followed Buffon's example, not Cannavaro's, because he (like Buffon) is an excellent talent who has a good part of his career ahead of him--not an aging superstar who hears his clock ticking. Don't get me wrong: Cannavaro is still a top-class defender, and will be for several years ahead. But leaving Juventus for one last big contract is panicked thinking.

Udinese and Juve are finalizing the transfer of the Brazilian defender Felipe.
The Turin-based club will give the Friulani 6 million Euros plus the co-ownership of Palladini and Masiello.
This is the first signing in the defensive area for the Bianconeri following the sales of Cannavaro and Thuram.

This is the one good news this summer. We got rid of a player that should have never played for juve AND we got 25 Mil for him, in addition to weakening Inter - he WILL start complaining very soon if he does not start, which with the number of strikers Inter have is very possible.

I think Juve fans are being VERY harsh on Zlatan. His first season he got 18 goals for ye right? Not bad for such a "cancer" player. Now i think alot of Juve fans are taking last season too much to heart. Zlatan IS a quality player, a bit of an Assclown but a damn good player, unfortunately last season just didnt work for him. Now any other club other than Inter and Zlatan would once again prove he is one of the worlds most exciting players, however with Inters incredible record of not getting the best outta top quality he could once again struggle in Serie A.

Finalemente il cesso si ne andato.
Finally the idiot has left. Didn't consider him a quality player in his first season, and was mediocre in the second. I'd rather have Palladino or Zalayeta have more playing time than for Ibra to waste space.

Felippe is a payer with great potential. He is only 22, If not 21, and he played regularly for Udene last season.
As far as Muntari, he wouldn't wanna hang around at Udine for too long. neither does Udinese want to hold on to him either. As soon as right offer arrives he will leave. I belive it will b once we get promoted back to Seria A.

Probably, transfers will not come for result. But win them try Didier Deschamps, it demands it from high amount Udinese Juventusu, because over 8 millions euro. If it about about it walk long ago not hear Muntari. We have won one of defender of Jean Alan Boumsoung, but he will not take a stand in with meeting italy today Coppa Italia in the match Napoli. Because they have not been performed all transfer formality else.
