Why does Shamrock continue to humiliate himself? He's the Tyson of Ultimate Fighting.

Cant believe the Maine-iac beat Arlovski again!

I attended this fight and let me tell you this, if my tickets weren't comp'd I would have been HEATED. Those "main events" were hugely dissapointing. Ortiz and Shamrock was over too quickly, and you can't really blame the ref, but you can blame the UFC for wasting Tito's time with fights vs grandpa. Sylvia and Arlovski was absolute crap too, those two pansies just danced around like ballerinas afraid to get hit, both playing passive and backing down afraid of one another, and this went on for 5 full rounds...boooring.

So overall, The ortiz shamrock debacle was called too quickly, and the sylvia arlovski wasn't called soon enough.

I actually enjoyed Hermes Franca and Joe Jordan more than the main events.

Yea Ortiz was gonna smash Shamrock eventually, just wished he would have done a bit more pounding. Sylvia and Arlovski looked like neither wanted to be KO'd.

I cant wait for Liddell-Silva. The 2 best Light-heavys going at it. UFC v Pride. My money's on Liddell. Of course this is after Chuck destroys Babalu for the 2nd time.

Babalu shouldnt be under estimated..on his day, he is more than capable, but Chuck is the man

i dunno man. as much as the iceman reigns supreme in teh ufc, the ufc isnt pride... pride is at a level that ufc wants to be at, but cant get to yet. should be some good mma though. Im glad i didnt spend the $ to get ufc 61 on pay per view.. from what i heard, it was appaling.

I agree with that on the heavyweight level, but thats about it imo. If you look at some of the world rankings it shows that (as unofficial and biased as they can be). UFC only has 2 decent heavys in Sylvia and Arlovski whereas Pride has Fedor, Nogueira, Filipovic, etc. I still think Chuck can take Silva. Last time he fought in Pride, he admitted he didnt prepare and was out of shape.

I heard interesting speculation about Arlovski switching to Pride as a sort of payback for Silva fighting UFC (for the time being). If this happened and Arlovski starts beating Pride's best, then its very good for UFC, but if he loses, than oh well, he is not the title holder.

Chris be happy that you didnt buy the ppv. The best broadcasted fight was the Stevenson-Edwards fight which was easily the bloodiest UFC match I have seen. I would recommend just downloading the day after PPVs by torrent. I learned my lesson.

Oh and with regards to Liddell-Sobral, its gonna be the same as before. Iceman will kick Babalu's arse.
