I got blisters on the backs of my heels with a new pair of boots (puma v3.06s) 2 days ago. They fit me pretty well I think, the heel fits really snug with next to no room for rubbing, so I don't know how I got them. Is it because the boots are new and I haven't broken them in yet? Does this happen to you when you get new boots?

vaseline. rub it inside your socks and outside your socks AND on the inside of the boot. it works really well and will help you wear it in faster. worked good for me for my legends, and worked well for my vapors.

Switch boots to what your feet are familiar with with blister healing stuff, then once they are healed use them again. Endure the blisters again if you get them again. This will give you a calloused area when it heals, therefore your feet will have a resistance against the boots.
Some boots these days dont mold as much, you may have to accept to change your feet slightly to match the boots.
